yellow light, and dashed in the direction of Shinda. Shinda struggled, trying to escape this strange force, but as soon as he successfully broke out, the light hit Shinda, and dragged him downward. Shinda began falling faster and faster, and finally entered the earth's atmosphere. Once he managed to push the strange light off of himself, he turned himself to see where he was about the land. Shinda made an attempt to move around to avoid hitting any public areas, but was unable to due to his increased velocity. He closed his eyes and prepared for impact. Only a mile off of a small village was a massive forest, known as Hōpu no mori (Forest of Hope), which is where Shinda managed to land. Once Shinda got up, he cracked his neck and looked up from the crater he had just created. A large group of plants had begun circling him, and a man in a green robe looked down at Shinda. The man in the green robe shook his head and had the plants pick Shinda up.
"What do you think you're doing defiling my forest, unearthly scum?" the man asked.
"Y-your forest?" Shinda asks as he coughed. "So you must be a druid then."
The man shook his head to confirm this assumption. "Now you answer my question lumberjack." the druid replied angrily.
"Look.." Shinda replied as he got up in pain. "This was not intentional, some dumb ass light nailed me in the stomach and dragged me down into this planet, plus I did no big damage to your forest in the first place."
"Oh is that so?" the druid asked, as he pulled Shinda from the crater to show him several destroyed trees and a fire on top of a cherry bush. "Then explain this to me you bastard."
Shinda sighed, and apologized for the damage he had done. Shinda was in his human form at the time, making it seem less obvious that he is a demon at heart. "Now would you let me go? I really shouldn't be here right now."
As the druid was about to let him go, the plants stopped listening to the druid's command, and began attacking them both. Shinda broke out of the vines, and pulled out his katana. Both the druid and Shinda began attacking the corrupted plants until they were destroyed. Once they were dealt with, Shinda and the druid sat down to catch their breaths.
"Got some strength in that blade there forest plunderer." the druid remarked.
"Yeah, and you've got some nice nature abilities there green freak." Shinda replied.
"They names Tsuri by the way, Tsuri Neichā." the druid claimed.
"Nice to meet ya Tsuri, I'm Shinda, Shinda Kage." Shinda said.
Shinda and Tsuri stood up, and shook hands.
"Now, maybe we should take a look at what's causing your forest to be attacking you of all people, Tsuri." Shinda replied.
"Very well, just don't make a mess of my plants this time." Tsuri said with worry.
Shinda and Tsuri began moving up the forest to find a damp environment, and echoed singing of a woman. Shinda claimed to have recognized the voice, but could not remember from where he had heard it before. They both walk in passed the trees to a large hot spring where a woman had been bathing. The steam from the spring had been thick, making it hard to see the woman's face. Shinda sneezed and had all the steam move away from the woman, but the woman had her eyes closed and continued to sing. Her hair was pink, and her skin nearly pale, Shinda and Tsuri covered their faces to keep from scaring the woman.
"Anata wa hanarete aruku tok-" the woman sang until she realized that the steam had moved from it's original location. She turned around to see the men standing there with their faces covered by their hands, and screamed. "You fucking perverts!! Wait till I get there I'll send you both to a world of pain!" the woman yelled.
"No please! Ma'am this was unintentional listen to me we're trying to do something really important! We'll be out of your way we swear!" Shinda replied in fear.
The woman stopped, and grinned. "That wouldn't be Shinda Kage trembling in fear, would it?" she said with a chuckle.
Shinda dropped his hand, and looked at the woman. It had been no other than the goddess of creation, Komori. Shinda smiled, and waved at her with joy. "Oh man! Long time no s-" Shinda said until he had been slapped.
"You perverted worm.." Komori says as she grabs his ear. "Wait till I tell your father about this you little shit I'll make sure you're suffering for the next week!" Komori spawns a frying pan, and begins to bash Shinda with it profusely. While Komori was violently chasing Shinda with a kitchen utensil, Tsuri stood and watched while blood ran out of his nose. Tsuri's smile grew bigger and bigger every time Shinda had been hit by the frying pan. Shinda turned around and pulled out his katana, and the goddess spawned in her rapier. The two of them started having a battle while Tsuri was drowning in his own nose blood. As the battle went on and on, the plants started rattling. Komori and Shinda stopped their fighting and looked at the plants.
"They've been doing this since I got here.." Komori said sadly.
"Any knowledge of the cause?" Shinda asked.
Komori shook her head, and looked down. Komori shrieked in fright and ran back into the steam. A strange strobe of light was coming from the steam, and Komori came flying out with her clothing on. Shinda sighed, and started walking out of the hot spring, while dragging the unconscious druid. Komori followed with a face of confusion as to when the druid had fainted in the first place.
"Right, so basically, the forest is corrupted by something, but the source is nowhere to be found yet." Shinda acknowledges as he pulled out another pack of FunDip.
"Pretty much, I have yet to find any actually corrupt plant that would cause all the other plants to go berserk. My hypothesis is something out of planet earth came in and decided to curse the forest." Komori added, as she took Shinda’s FunDip stick and took a bite.
"When did this start?" Shinda asked angrily as he continued eating the FunDip.
"About a week ago, after the festival outside of the forest." Komori answered.
Shinda thought for a second, that maybe this could be a demon controlling the forest, but no demon in the right mind would attack him.
"The animals, they tell me it's from weird purple particle that flies from plant to plant corrupting them." Tsuri replies.
"Impossible.." Shinda denies. "If that's what it is then there would be no forest to save, it would be a bunch of rubble."
The three continued traveling through the forest up to the core of the plants, the Grand Tree of Life, in hopes that this particle would be targeting that area next.
Chapter 2 - Ushinawareta-shin no mori
"Come on now! You call yourself a goddess?" Tsuri says as he starts laughing.
Komori got up, and flew at Tsuri slowly with fire in her eyes. "What did you say.. you tree vexon?!" Komori asked aggressively.
"I-I meant, your hair is quite lovely my lady of c-creation!" Tsuri says as he falls over.
Komori lands back on the ground and smiles. "Okay!" she replies innocently.
Shinda, still on the ground, looks up at the stars and notices a purple light fly passed him. He jumps up and starts speeding after it. Komori and Tsuri nod and run after Shinda as much as they could, but sadly Shinda's speed was too much for them to handle. Once they caught up at the Grand Tree, they notice Shinda moving back slowly with his katana out. "It's alive... back away before it destroys the whole forest.." Shinda whispers. Komori and Tsuri stand in place, watching the tree get infected by a purple force.
"Shinda.. that isn't.. is it?" Komori asks as she begins to back away. Shinda nods in fear and hate, as if he had seen this force before. Tsuri could not take it anymore, and dashed at the Grand Tree. "Tsuri! No!" Komori yelled. It was too late, the tree began sending sharp leaves and vines at Tsuri.
"I won't let it take my forest away from me!" Tsuri said evading all strikes. He pulled out his staff and sent an attack at the tree, in an attempt to clean it of the corruption, unfortunately failing. Tsuri continued sending strikes at the tree in hopes that it would scare the force away, or kill it at the best.
"Tsuri you're not dealing with an everyday demon, get out of there!" Shinda screamed. Komori could not watch as Tsuri prepared his own funeral, and dashed in after him. Komori sent in several orbs of light at the tree attempting to purify it at the least. Shinda stood back, and began to think of some way to repel the force from there without killing the tree. As a thought came to his mind, a giant vine flew at him, but Shinda evaded and quickly unsheathed his katana. He began spinning and took one slash at the vine to kill it, then bounced off the trees towards the Grand Tree. Tsuri pulled out his spell book, and began chanting a spell to push any force out of a tree without damaging the forest.
"Watashi no mori wa, hason no nai bashode wanai, fauru seishin o okonatte, anata no furusato ni modoru koto!" Tsuri said. The Grand Tree began to glow green, and the purple particles were pushed out of the tree. Tsuri started firing nature beams at the purple particles but only managed to slow them down for a moment. "You bastard.. get the hell out of my forest!" he screamed with hatred.
"Tsuri! It's all over now, we can't do anything about that thing, it'll leave now." Komori said. Shinda walked up to them, and pulled out a purple fluid in a jar.
"This thing is in all of the trees. This job isn't done just yet." Shinda said.
"Corruption fluid? What does this thing want with the forest anyway?" Komori asked.
"I don't know, but it better leave before I send it to hell!" Tsuri yelled. Shinda gave Tsuri a mean look, and then turned around. "Whats wrong with him? Poison ivy down his pants?" he asked.
"Oh you don't know? By now I expected Shinda would've at least told you that much." Komori replied. "The boy is a demon, son of the 'mighty' lord Satan, but he's no harm to anyone. He believes in balance no matter if he's next in line to be king or not." she continues.
"A demon huh? The dude smashed into the forest from space." Tsuri replied. "If he's no harm he wouldn't be destroying my damn forest."
"I'm sure it was by accident, trust me Shinda hasn't caused havoc in over 2 billion years." Komori claimed. The three characters went up to the Grand Tree, and Tsuri began a healing and cleansing spell to remove the fluids. While the revival was in progress, the plants started attacking Komori and Shinda. They began holding the plants off until Tsuri was finished saving the Grand Tree.
"Care to hurry it up back there?! We're getting pricked by rose thorns over here!" Shinda shouted while slashing at the thorny vines.
"Doing this as fast as I can!" Tsuri replied.
"Well do it faster!" Shinda yelled.
Tsuri finished the revival, and the fluids vanished from inside the tree. The plants went back into the forest to prepare for another attack. Tsuri nodded and pointed at the next few trees. Patting Shinda's back, Komori went on and followed Tsuri to the next trees. Shinda followed too, and made sure nothing was coming after them. Tsuri began healing the trees, when a giant branch smacked him back. Komori picked him up, and told him to keep going while she kept the trees distracted. Tsuri began the revival again, and was hit up by vines this time. Komori had been tied up by vines, and Shinda was being pulled down by tall grass. Tsuri acted fast, and grabbed his Naturamicon. "Kono hansoku o waki ni oki, bōryoku o teishi shi, mōichido heiwa no ha ni seichō." Tsuri said. The plants let go of Komori and Shinda, but were grabbed moment later by a giant tree. The tree sent bees at Tsuri, but were evaded. Tsuri sent vines to tie up the tree and used the tall grass to push him up to the top of the tree. Tsuri quickly pressed a nature sigil on top of it, and put two soul seeds on the sigil. He was pushed off the tree, but threw water directly at the sigil. The sigil was activated, and grew two branches into the ground, trapping the tree temporarily. This gave the druid a chance to charge his staff and send a nature blast to clean it of the corruption. Shinda and Komori remained in the tree's hands, slowly being crushed. The tree finally managed to break out of the trap, and swung at Tsuri. Tsuri managed to finish charging his staff, but was hit back by the tree. Tsuri got back up and used the nature blast at the tree, hoping this would save it. The tree's roots went back underground, also letting go of Komori and Shinda.
"You guys alright?" Tsuri asked worried.
"Oh we're just great.." Komori and Shinda said face-planted on the ground. They got up and looked at the tree. Shinda spit at it and gave it the middle finger, while Komori yelled at it and stuck her tongue out at it. Tsuri stood in the back disappointed at the both of them, and started walking away. While their anger at the tree echoes through the night, the druid laid down on the Grand Tree and fell asleep.
"You think it's all over Komori?" Shinda asked.
"I think we need to get some rest, and then check up on the plant in the morning." Komori replied.
Shinda nodded, and created a campfire. Komori lied down on the grass and closed her eyes. Shinda looked up at the stars, and lied down as well. He questioned the purple particles, as he had definitely seen them before. A flashback of a woman being controlled by it came to mind, but he quickly got out of it and went to sleep. Komori knew that Shinda would worry about it, so she looked at him and made sure he would be asleep first. Once he was definitely asleep, she closed her eyes again and fell asleep too.
In the morning, they started off by checking all the plants, and making sure there was no purple fluid left. Tsuri thanked them for saving the forest once it was confirmed that there was no corruption left. The three of them left the forest to grab some grub at the Olde Breakfast Shack in the small village by the forest.
"So, you come here often Komori?" Shinda asked curiously.
"Aw getting all flirtatious already, Shinda?" Komori replied and giggled. "Of course not, I travel all over the universe. I just happened to have found this hot spring and wanted to bathe, a goddess needs her relaxation too, you know."
"Right right, I was just assuming maybe you knew about the corruption which is why you showed up there, and seeing as how you knew it had been there for a week.." Shinda said.
"That was all just common goddess knowledge, I'm a genius remember? A flick of my fingers and I'll know whats been going on for how long." Komori replied.
A man walks by the table and turns around. "Oi! Ain't ye that lass that asked me 'bout them forest troubles? They be done with now, must've been some crazy hallucinations from that beer las' night doncha' think?" a man said as he laughed.
The goddess blushed a little, and kicked the man at a table. "Shut up you idiot!" she replies embarrassed.
"A flick of your fingers, huh?" Shinda replies.
"Oh shut it Shinda." Komori replies angrily.
Tsuri laughs and finishes his food. "You two must know each other for a long while, because man do you make me laugh with all of the shenanigans." he says with joy.
"What do you mean by that?" Shinda replies.
"Well, aren't you two married or something?" Tsuri replied.
"WHAT!?" Shinda and Komori reply. "Don't be ridiculous why would I marry this thing?!" they said as they pointed at each other.
Tsuri laughs again, and nods in understanding. "How's about a game of cards?" Tsuri asks.
"TSURI NO!" Komori yelled.
The ground begins shaking, and suddenly Tsuri's cards begin to levitate and circle around the three of them. The cards spin faster and create a portal which teleports them out of the inn, and into a strange realm. The floor is designed with the symbols of play cards, with no walls or ceiling. The realm had a grey color to it, with white lines moving around, while play cards flew around the sky like clouds.
"This better not be what I think it is..." Komori says in disappointment.
Shinda and Tsuri stood there confused, looking at Komori.
Chapter 3 - The Gambler and His Cards
"What does it mean, Komori?" Shinda asked.
"It means we have to figure out which card is not like the other two.." Komori replied.
They focused on the cards sharply. Tsuri and Shinda pointed at the center card, while Komori pointed at the left card. Komori shook her head and looked down.
"This isn't going to end well.." Komori said with a sad tone. "Look." she says as she pointed out the few differences between the cards. "This one has a yellow line on it's belt, while the other two have an orange line. Over here his cards are blue, while over here they are cyan."
Tsuri and Shinda looked at them cluelessly, and rubbed their eyes. "Uh, Komori how did you notice those of all things? They're microscopic!" Tsuri asked.
"I've been through this before, just trust me, and don't fail a single puzzle or you'll be going through a very rough time." Komori replied.
Tsuri and Shinda nodded, and watched Komori as she touched the left card. The cards shattered, and opened a door to the next room. Komori walked in. Shinda and Tsuri followed. This room was dark, and as soon as the door closed, there was only pitch blackness. Komori and Tsuri had troubles seeing, but Shinda was able to grab their hands and drag them to the next part of the puzzle. Komori did her best to figure out what the puzzle was, and directed Shinda to find a way to light the place up. Tsuri stayed back and waited for the puzzle to be over. Shinda managed to find a joker card, and told Komori it was just sitting there. Komori warned him to back away, but as soon as Shinda turned around to look at it, it had grabbed him.
"Shinda..? Shinda!?" Komori screamed. "Damnit! I told you to back away!" Komori pulled out her charm, and created a temporary light to show the puzzle dimly. This puzzle had a card tower, which were all ace of spades. Komori looked at the puzzle slowly, and realized that she had to pull out a single card without destroying the tower. She was focused now, with complete silence she looked at every card multiple times, and finally pulled a single card out. The cards shattered and the room lit up. Komori looked around, but only Tsuri was in sight. "Shinda..!? Where did you go!?" Komori asked. She looked at the next door and ran in. Tsuri followed her in fear that something had happened to Shinda. The next room was completely covered with cards, but only a few cards on the floor were black, the rest remained to be hearts and diamonds. Komori pulled out a single red card, and threw it at a black card. The black card exploded, and instantly returned to it's place. Komori started jumped over every black card along with Tsuri. Tsuri heard a strange noise from behind, and when he turned around, there was a joker card. As soon as Komori made it to the end, she turned around to check on Tsuri, who was no longer there. "What.. Where... Tsuri?" Komori questioned. She turned around and noticed that the door had been opened. She ran through it quickly to avoid vanishing as well. As soon as Komori got through the door, she had noticed that Shinda and Tsuri were transformed into giant playcards. "Alright freako, you've captured my friends now whats your plan?" Komori asked already knowing who caused this problem.
"Whaaat c'mon! No hello? You've become a rude Goddess Komori ya know?" a strange but funny voice replied.
"How about you show your clown face over here so I can beat you senselessly?" Komori asked.
All joker cards from the room combined in the center of the room, and created a spiral staircase. "Now lets not be so hasty goddess, wheres the rush?" the voice said. A man came down from the spiral staircase, wearing a purple top-hat and sunglasses with visors shaped like spades. He had a big grin on his face, and a purple tailcoat with cards falling out of his pockets. "Long time no see, dont you think?" the man said once he got to the bottom of the staircase. Komori attempted to cast a spell at him, but was unable to use her powers. The man laughed like a clown, and suddenly his clothing changed into a black color. "Your powers are useless in my realm princess." He said with an even larger grin than before.
"You think this is funny? What do you want from me Game Master?" Komori asked angrily.
"I want a fair fight, so hows about a game of poker, puppet?" the Game Master replied.
"One condition." Komori demanded. "You free my friends over there." she requested.
"Ah the demon boy and a trusty wood fairy, fine fine fine." the Game Master agreed.
The game master moved away from the spiral staircase, which transformed into a white poker table. He sat down on one side, and Komori on the other. The table created two identical decks of cards, and automatically shuffled them. The decks went to opposite sides, and drew seven cards which levitated infront of their destined player. "Now, you remember the rules pumpkin?" the Game Master asked. Komori nodded and touched two cards, which returned to the deck. Two new cards flew to the other five. "Strange.. you didn't bother to ask what you're staking there darling." the Game Master said chuckling.
"I don't care what Im staking, because I wont lose." she replied full of herself. A holographic timer appeared counting down ten seconds until the cards go down for the first round. Komori had one more look at her cards and placed her hands down on the table. The counter now dropped to five seconds, and the Game Master giggled, followed by putting his hands down on the table as well. The cards went down on the table so the opponents could see the result. This round, the Game Master won with a three of a kind. Komori started feeling nervous now.
"What a shame, and here I thought you'd be an actual challenge goddess." the Game Master said while laughing.
"Just start the next round." she said.
"Oh come on! Aren't ya having any fun?" the Game Master replied. Komori said nothing, just prepared for the next round. "Alrighty then ya party pooper." he said. He snapped his finger and seven new cards drew from the deck. Komori smirked, and placed her hands on the table automatically. The Game Master looked at Komori, and noticed she must have a good hand this time around. He touched all seven cards and sent them to the deck. Komori's eyes opened wide, and she began to sweat slightly.
"You're crazy..." Komori said as she swallowed her saliva.
"Ah.. but am I?" the Game Master asked as his new seven cards came up. He grinned and placed his hands on the the table. The cards dropped. Komori's hand was a flush, but she did not seem very happy to see the Game Master's hand. He had won the round with a full house. Komori became increasingly nervous with the outcome of the game. She took a deep breath and looked at the Game Master's deck. She noticed that a few cards had been slightly different colors than an average deck, and stood up instantly.
"You cheating bastard!" Komori screamed as she pointed at the deck. The Game Master's top hat created a shadow on his face, and he began to laugh. Komori stood there angrily waiting for the Game Master to confess.
"Alright.. you got me..." the Game Master admit. "But I've got you.." he said as Komori turned around. A joker card began to come closer and closer to Komori, but she immediately kicked it aside. The Game Master was startled, and hopped out of his chair. "What do you think you're doing pumpkin!? Hows about you don't assault my card!?" he said as he pulled out four cards from his suit pocket. Komori quickly spawned her rapier, now knowing that she has limited powers afterall. The card table instantly disintegrated, and the cards began spinning around the Game Master and Komori like a battle barrier. The Game Master started throwing cards at Komori, but she managed to destroy each one with her rapier. The Game Master started firing cards from the barrier vortex, and Komori had no choice but to run and dodge them until she could get a clear strike at the Game Master. As soon as she saw the right moment, she jumped at him, but before she could get a good strike, he transformed into a card and vanished. "Now now, lets not be hasty... Komori..." the Game Master replied. Komori knew that he was one of the billions of cards in the vortex. She looked around for any possible card that looked out of the usual. She noticed a card with a golden back, and jumped at it instantly. She stabbed the card, but it exploded sending her back at the ground. Komori stands up, and picks up her rapier.
"Why don't you fight like a man, Game Master?" Komori asked. She looked around again, and noticed that there had only been one joker card in the entire vortex. She jumped up and attacked the card, releasing the Game Master and sending them both down to the ground. They both stood up, and the card master created six giant cards. He sent them spinning at Komori swiftly, which Komori was unable to dodge. Komori fell down injured by the spinning cards, and took a deep breath. She got back up and jumped at the Game Master. He created a card barrier, which bounced Komori at the vortex and back on the ground. Komori no longer tried struggling to get up, she stayed down and waited for the Game Master to come close. The Game Master took two steps forward and placed his diamond cane on top of the goddess' back.
"Boy are you ever so week pumpkin. Must be gettin' old sitting on that golden throne all day eh?" the Game Master asked feeling high and mighty.
"Watashitachiha māberikku ā watashitachiha akiramemasen wareware wa kono shiai ni katsu made wa.." the Goddess began to sing quietly.
"What's that? A lullaby? You've given up that simply Komori? Heh! Pathetic." the Game Master said.
Komori picked her head up quickly, and pushed herself up. In a matter of seconds, she stuck her blade into the Game Master's heart, and pulled the blade out. The Game Master stared at Komori expressionlessly, and fell to his knees. "Check mate." the Game Master said as he disintegrated into play cards. The room began shaking, and the cards lost control and began flying all over the place. Komori evaded all the cards and jumped to Tsuri and Shinda. She quickly grabbed her charm and placed it on both cards, releasing them. Shinda got up quickly and grabbed Tsuri and Komori. The room began falling apart, and Shinda acted quickly and jumped to the next room, but let go of Komori in the process. While Tsuri made it to the next room, Shinda was in the air reaching for the goddess, who was falling into pure darkness. While their hands got closer and closer to each other's, Tsuri created a plant to grab Shinda. Once Tsuri pulled Shinda back in the room, he thought maybe that he let the goddess fall. Moments later, Komori climbed up into the room, confirming that Shinda caught her before she fell into the abyss. Everybody took a deep breath, and looked at the room.
"The final puzzle." Komori confirmed. She stood up and looked at a giant chess table, with no chess pieces. Komori walked onto the table, and a single chess piece, shaped like the Game Master appeared on that side. After a moment of strange silence, the chess piece moved forward five tiles towards Komori. She immediately pulled out her katana and moved a single tile horizontally. Shinda and Tsuri stood back knowing that interfering now could cause several problems. The chess piece moved another five tiles towards Komori. Komori now realized what the puzzle meant, she had to be the one able to attack the piece on her turn, instead of moving. She moved the opposite direction once, and waited for the piece to move again. This time, the piece moved four tiles, trying to confuse the goddess. Komori moved one tile up, and waited for the piece to move. The piece moved five tiles, and was only two tiles away from Komori. Komori moved a single tile to the right, and prepared to strike at her turn. The piece moved right next to Komori, and then one tile down realizing the error it had just made. Komori quickly took the piece down hoping it would be the end of the puzzle. The piece exploded, and opened a portal back to Earth.
"Phew.. you did it Komori, nice job." Shinda said relieved.
"Lets just go, before something else happens." Komori said. As they were about to cross the portal, a scream came out of it, and a girl flew out crashing into Shinda and Komori.
"S-sorry about that.. I'm not sure how I got here..." the girl said as she got up. Shinda immediately jumped up, realizing who was talking.
"Eve?!" Shinda asked looking directly at the girl. She was wearing a black hoodie, with a red shirt underneath, along with black jeans and red converse with black shoe laces. Her hair was black with a black ribbon in it, and had bags under her eyes, as if she were lacking sleep.
"WHAT?" Komori said picking her head up to look at the girl.
"Wow, this is waaaay awkward." the girl said looking at Shinda and Komori.
"What the heck is going on here?" Tsuri asked looking at all three of them at the same time.
The four of them looked at each other in confusion for minutes and minutes waiting for somebody to say something.
Chapter 4 - An Innocent Demon?
"Relax dad, I was not intending on appearing in some random realm. My Necronomicon showed me an image of you and Miss Komori in trouble so I tried to cast something to get you out." Eve replies.
"What did I tell you about using that damn book girl?" Shinda asks again.
"Oh come on dad, if it wasn't for me you'd be trapped in this room until it finally got destroyed by a bunch of play cards." Eve claimed.
"Lets get out of here Shinda, then you could yell and your daughter, how does that sound?" Komori asked nervously.
Shinda nodded, grabbed Eve and went through the portal. Tsuri and Komori followed, and the portal closed. Once they all got out of the portal, it closed from Earth's side. The portal ended up leaving the four of them in Eve's room. The room had a dark wood floor, grey walls covered by several ceremonial papers, and black furniture. Eve sat down on her red chair and looked at Shinda, ready to be yelled at.
"Eve, we'll talk about this later. For now I need to talk to Komori, clean your room up will you?" Shinda said as he walked out with Komori and Tsuri.
"Hey, nice room you got there!" Tsuri says complimenting Eve.
"Thanks Wood Fairy, I like your staff, real cute." Eve replied.
"Erh, r-right.." Tsuri says as he leaves Eve's room.
Now in the kitchen, Shinda and Komori discussed the situation that just went on, and what they should do about Eve's constant research on forbidden things. Shinda believed that Eve should not be researching these things, as they lead to nothing but trouble with his father later. Komori, on the other hand, feels that she does not use them wrongly, and that she should be free to use it as long as it is not used for evil.
"Alright, but with the magic she's casting she could get herself seriously hurt." Shinda explained.
"You're right, but so far she's done forbidden magic beyond my level of knowledge, and nothing wrong happened to her. She's a smart girl Shinda, I doubt she would use something she can't do properly. Look at the scrolls on her walls, I could barely read that stuff and she managed to translate it and cast it without any trouble." Komori added.
"If I could interupt for just a secon-" Tsuri said before being interupted by Komori and Shinda's 'No'.
"Look Tsuri right now I have to figure out how to get you back to your forest, because you're not in Japan anymore bud." Shinda says.
Tsuri begins to panic and runs out of the house to see the forest only a few steps away. "You're a funny guy Shinda, thanks for nearly giving me a heart attack there!" Tsuri shouts from outside. Shinda grins and walks upstairs to talk to Eve privately. He knocks on her door and waits for permission to enter.
"Dad you know you don't have to knock. It's not like I'm changing or anything." Eve says.
"Alright listen up Eve, I had a talk with Komori and we've come to an agreement that you could continue your research, but you better not go over your limit." Shinda explained.
"Of course not dad, I have no intention on skipping a page in the Necronomicon in the first place. This stuff is actually interesting unlike all that ritual bullshit and legal magic." Eve says proudly.
"Well, I owe you one for today. You saved our asses today. We were only seconds from being destroyed by a bunch of play cards." Shinda admit.
"Oh please, when will there be a time when I actually don't try to save you?" Eve replies. "If I leave you in danger then there will be even bigger problems."
"You're right, and I thank you. But don't go so far ahead of yourself, you nearly killed yourself trying to create that portal for us." Shinda said.
"It was an accident, I swear it won't happen again." Eve claimed.
"I believe you. Now go get dressed up for dinner, we're going out to eat with Komori." Shinda finished as he left the room.
Eve, filled with excitement ran to the bathroom to take a shower. She turned on the shower, and undressed. She took a look in the mirror, gave herself a big smile and hopped into the shower. Once she finished showering, she dried herself off, ran to her closet, grabbed a nice black shirt along with some black high heel shoes, and dark blue jeans. Eve did her makeup, tied a nice black ribbon to her hair, and ran downstairs ready to go out for dinner. "Ready dad!" Eve said.
"Boy you sure do work fast. Alright lets get going, we'll be taking Tsuri here with us, met him when I smashed into his forest." Shinda explained.
"Oh? So that's why you're here then dad? I wasn't expecting you on Earth for another few months what made you change your mind?" Eve asked curiously.
"I was talking to Aunt Wrath when something hit me into the atmosphere and smashed me into the forest. Still working up on the details but that doesn't matter for now, lets just go grab something to eat." Shinda said.
Shinda heads outside and creates a portal. He nods at everybody and points to enter. "This will take us directly to the restaurant without any problems with transportation." he explains. Everybody enters the portal and end up outside of the restaurant. The people outside greet them and bow, signifying the permission to enter the restaurant. Once everybody entered, they were directed to their table.
Everybody looked at the menus and waited for their waiter to come by. "So, Shinda, this is your daughter huh?" Tsuri asked.
"That's right, my blood and genes right there." Shinda replied.
"Right, so, wheres the mother then?" Tsuri asked. Suddenly an awkward silence filled the table. "Oh.. I'm sorry I didn't know."
"Don't worry about it, it's just hard sometimes thats all." Shinda replied.
The waiter arrived at the table and placed tea down for Komori, Shinda, and Eve. "Hello there Kage family, I see you've brought a guest over today. The usual I assume?" the waiter asked. Komori, Shinda, and Eve smiled and nodded, then looked at Tsuri.
"Uhm, I'll have the chicken teriyaki with pork fried rice, and an eggroll please." Tsuri ordered politely.
The waiter bowed down and went off with the orders. "The food will take some time to get ready, might as well have a chat before eating." Shinda said. "How long have you been a part of the forest, Tsuri?" he asked.
"Well, since the creation of the Earth I was created to watch a certain forest of my own. Of course when I was a child, I was still in druidic training to claim a forest mine. Little did I know I would surpass all druid students a few years later and claim Ushinawareta-shin no mori as my own." Tsuri explained.
"That's really cool. I would love to own a forest of my own honestly." Eve commented. "I don't think I would be able to manage though, since it takes years of training and lots of nature bonding. I love nature it just doesn't seem to like me much." she explained.
"I doubt that nature hates you, sometimes trees are rough when they try to show their love." Tsuri explains. He then pulls down his sleeve and shows Eve a large cut that was caused by a tree that simply wanted to hug him.
"Aww, thats cute kind of. Have you ever considered being anything else but a druid?" Eve asked.
"Not quite, see I was born into a druidic family. However, my elders did try to have me go another path, but I just did not agree. I love nature and now that I control the most important of forests on the planet I take my job very seriously. Which is why I almost snapped on your father over here." Tsuri explains and laughs. The conversation continues until the food arrives, and finally they began to eat. Just before anybody took their first bite, a loud stomp came from outside the restaurant. Eve quickly jumped out of her chair and pulled the Necronomicon out of her bag. Shinda, Tsuri, and Komori follow right after her to the outside. Once they are all outside, they see a giant troll attacking the village. Eve quickly turned to a page in her Necronomicon and said a few words, which instantly sent the troll to another land. She turned around and skipped back into the restaurant. Shinda, Komori, and Tsuri stood surprised how fast Eve dealt with that situation, and walked back into the restaurant.
"That was some fast work girl, got to hand it to you I couldn't do that if I tried." Komori admit. "Where did you learn to do all this?" she asked.
"I taught myself, actually." Eve claimed. "I did some research through the Necronomicon but I had to read through a lot of translation books to understand the symbols and stuff." she explained further.
"Amaz-" Komori said before she was interupted by a strange force.
"Something wrong Komori?" Tsuri asked.
Komori did not reply, she felt as if something was around her. Moments later, the four of them appear in a dark dimension surrounded by shadow lords.
"It has come to our attention.. that one of you have been using forbidden spells without the permission of Lucifer. Is this true?" a shadow lord asks.
"Mother fucker..." Eve replies as she takes a seat in a chair.
"Let the forbidden trials begin." the shadow lord said as he smacked his gavel on the table.
Chapter 5 - The Shadow Trials
The Shadow Trials
"Now, let us begin the tests." the Shadow Lord said.
"W-what exactly is it that we're being tested on?" Tsuri asked.
"Not you, the girl." the Shadow Lord answered. Everybody looked at Eve, understanding that her use of forbidden magic had finally caught on with the Shadow Cult of Order. Komori went up to the center of the room, and looked at every shadow lord.
"Eve has done nothing wrong, leave her alone." Komori demanded.
"We apologize, Goddess Komori. However, according to the Laws of Shadows, in order to be allowed to use the forbidden spells of Necro, you must first be put through several challenges to prove your worthiness." the shadow lord explained. Komori looked at Eve, and knew she could not change the mind of the Shadow Cult without causing Universal Anarchy. She nodded her head, and patted Eve's shoulder.
"Your honors, this is ridiculous." Shinda said. "My daughter is only eighteen what makes you think she could possibly do any of these challenges?" he asked.
"Eve Kage has studied Necronology since the age of fourteen, and ranks number one for casting forbidden spells in the universe." the Shadow Lord claimed.
"But from what I know about these challenges, not one living and breathing thing had managed to beat it." Shinda said.
"We apologize sir Kage, but our minds are made up, and the decision had already been made." the Shadow Lord explained. Shinda sat down with his head buried in his hands. Eve moved next to him and gave him a hug.
"I'll be alright dad." Eve explained. "Please say you won't let go of me." she said as she looked at her father's sadness. Shinda looked at Eve, and gave her a smile. He nodded. Eve smiled, and walked up to the center of the room. "I'm ready. Send me down boys." Eve said in a heroic voice. The shadow lords chanted the words of the trial, and had shadows surround Eve. Once the shadows vanished, Eve had no longer been in the room. A wall had opened a giant window, to which shows an enormous arena surrounded by lava. Eve moved to the center of the arena, and waited for the first task.
"Trial One, Luxaria." echoed through the arena. Eve pulled out her Necronomicon and waited for the start of the trial. The arena had been surrounded by a dark shadow barrier, and had four stones at the edges with strange symbols on them. The first symbol sent out a shadow which formed into a woman with long blonde hair and light blue eyes. Eve stood there confused, but turned the pages of her book to a chapter on shadow removal. "You must destroy the shadow before it manages to claim you theirs." the voice explained. "Good luck." The shadow began to remove her clothing, as she got closer and closer to Eve. Eve blushed, and quickly looked for a spell to destroy a shadow. The shadow made it to Eve, and touched her chin. Eve looked at the shadow as it's head tilted to her and placed it's lips on Eve's. Shinda and Komori looked down at the field and started cursing through the glass, while Tsuri was covering his nose. Suddenly, the shadow pulled away from Eve, and looked down at Eve's hand, which had cast a spell into the shadow's body. The shadow faded away and Eve wiped her lips while walking back to the center. The first stone lit up, showing the symbol of Lust. Komori and Shinda took a deep breath and sighed with relief. "Well done, up next, Trial Two, Gula." the voice said. A shadow appeared next to Eve, and created one of Eve's favorite meals. Eve looked at the meal, as it's scent entered her nose. She pulled towards the meal, which was enchanted with charm, to lure a prey to it. Eve began eating the meal, and the shadow pulled out a large blade. Komori and Shinda started cursing through the glass again, while Tsuri looked at the food and drooled. The shadow swung it's blade at Eve, but she instantly dodged it and jumped up. The shadow looked at the meal, which had all been complete, and looked back at Eve, who created a shadow blade. The shadow swung at Eve, but she backflipped behind it and slashed it to the ground, destroying it. The next stone had lit up, with the symbol of Gluttony.
"You've got to make it easier than that. These trials are just gifting me right now." Eve explains.
"Trial Three, Superbia." the voice echoed. The next shadow appeared in the form of Eve herself. The shadow began copying Eve's movements like a mirror. Once Eve stopped moving, the shadow moved one step closer to her, and continued moving closer until Eve started moving again. Eve flexed, and noticed that the shadow's muscles were bigger than hers. Eve looked at the shadow angrily, and pulled out her dagger, the shadow did the same. She slashed the shadow's arm, and the shadow slashed the same part on Eve's arm. Eve now understood what this challenge meant. She quickly looked around to figure out how to answer this without getting herself killed. Eve moved to a corner in the room, and the shadow went to the same corner on the opposite side. Eve summoned a shadow of herself without letting the shadow see it, and had the shadow in the same position as Eve. Eve sent the shadow to the side, and the other shadow followed. Eve's shadow then stabbed itself, as did the shadow to mimic it. The shadows vanished, and lit up the stone with the symbol of pride on it.
"WEAK." Eve said as she came back to the middle.
"The Fourth and Final Trial, Ira." the voice chanted. The final stone sent out a shadow, in the form of Eve's mother, Aki. Shinda fell to his knees, and Komori's eyes widened. As tears dropped from both of their eyes, the room became cold. Eve walked up to Aki in tears slowly.
"M-mother.. it can't be you, it's just not possible." Eve said with tears pouring down her eyes.
"Eve, you've grown since I last saw you. My beautiful daughter, my beautiful murderer." Aki says as she put her hand on Eve's shoulder. Eve took one look at Aki, as her mother slowly pulled a blade out of her back. Eve's eyes grew big, and she quickly rolled over and knocked Aki over.
"You liar.. you're not my mother.." Eve said in anger, as she wiped the tears off her face. "My mother would never pull a blade on me, corrupted or not.." Eve explained. She pulled out her black-bladed knife, and ran at Aki like a ninja. Hopping from one wall to another Eve lunged at Aki to take her out, but Aki would not move. Moments before Eve made it to Aki, Aki turned her head to Eve, and caught Eve by the neck.
"Now child.. don't try and hurt your mother.." Aki said as her eyes turned red. Slowly she began to crush Eve by the neck. Eve took one look at Aki, and grabbed her knife to stab Aki in the arm. Dropping her, Aki took a stab back as black blood dripped out of her arm. "You bitch, I will tear you to shreds." Aki screamed. Eve looked up at Aki one more time, and ran right at her to finish the job. Eve took one attack and slashed Aki's neck. Aki fell to the ground, and vanished. Eve fell to her knees sweating, and put ear-buds in. After a moment, she stood up and left the arena. As she entered the high council room again, everybody looked at her. Shinda ran to hug her, and she hugged him. Komori ran in to join the hug, and the Shadow Lord gave them that moment.
"Eve Kage, congratulations." the Shadow Lord said. "As the first to complete the challenge, we must record your words in regards to the challenge, or your feelings to a single trial." he explained. Eve took a step into the center, gave the Shadow Lord a death stare and grinned.
"So it's gonna be forever, or it's gonna go down in flames, you can tell me when it's over, if the high was worth the pain." Eve quoted, as she turned around and left the hall. Everybody gave the Shadow Lord one more look, and left after Eve. The group reappears on planet Earth, and give Eve a strange look. "What is it guys..?" Eve asked curiously.
"Eve, your eyes.." Shinda said, as he looked at her eyes. Eve's eyes were a full black, but contained three white circles that moved around the eyes clock-wise.
"The Shadow Lord granted you more than just access to the Necronomicon, they gave you powers beyond their own. Powers that I cannot explain myself, but rather will have to learn about just like you will." Komori explained. Eve blinked, looking at everybody for a few moments.
Song Explanations: Eve quotes Blank Space by Taylor Swift in the end, this is not explained in the story at any time. Blank Space is the song about Eve's Pain and her relationship with her brother Adam. This song is also Eve's battle theme and will be often referenced throughout the series following this chapter. In this case, the song that she was listening to as she quoted it was the I Prevail cover.
Further explanation: "Or it's going to go down in flames", refers to Adam and Eve's separation before the story. As the Garden of Eden was burned down.
Adam and Eve were separated as children, and unlike Adam, Eve is immortal. Adam died, and Eve had no idea. She was finally told about Adam when she reached the age of 16. Further information about this story coming soon.
Chapter 6 - Blank Spaces
"Eve honey are you alright?" Shinda asked. Eve looked at Shinda and fell to the ground, landing in Tsuri's plants that he quickly set up to stop rough impact. Everybody ran to Eve and tried to wake her up. Shinda created a portal and had everybody appear in a massive garden. Komori looked around, and realized this was the Garden of Eve, the garden that replaced the Garden of Eden, which was burned down billions of years ago by Satan himself.
"Shinda, what are we doing here?" Komori asked.
"My home was burned down, Eve is unconscious, this is the only other place I could think of going to especially to wake Eve up." Shinda replied. Eve opened her eyes, and looked around as she coughed up blood. Shinda looked at her afraid she may be injured. Eve looks at Shinda, and shakes her head.
"Adam, I saw Adam in my dream." Eve said.
"Adam? But we removed your dream thoughts of him, how is that possible?" Shinda questioned.
"He said he's coming, he needs something from us all." Eve explained.
"That's not possible, Adam's soul was left in my container after he died, nothing could possibly let him out." Komori said. Eve shook her head, and pointed to a shining tree surrounded by cherry blossoms. Komori looked at it blankly, as did Shinda. Tsuri smiled, enjoying the nature in the garden. The tree transformed into a black silhouette of a man, who was floating in place.
"It's him" Eve said, as she stood up and walked closer to the silhouette. "Adam, is that really you?" she asked.
"I could read you like a magazine, Eve." the silhouette said. "I could show you incredible things." he said, as he removed the silhouette image of himself and revealed his original form, at the age Eve was in.
Eve gave him a long, frightened look. She walked up to him slowly, with little belief that she's really seeing him in person, right now. He gave her a smile and nodded. Komori stood beside Eve, and put her hand on her shoulder. Komori was as shocked as Eve, seeing him was not something expected at all. Shinda shook his head and looked at Komori.
"This isn't possible, you know that, Komori." Shinda told Komori.
"But you see him, he's there, standing. He just spoke Shinda." Komori explained.
"But you'll come back each time you leave." the black silhouette said to Eve.
"Cause darling I'm a nightmare dressed like a daydream" Eve said as she grinned. Everybody looked at her in confusion, thinking this may be a strange bond the two of them have.
"I need to ask you all for help, including you, Eve." Adam explained.
"Now why would we help you?" Shinda asked angrily.
"Shinda, let him speak." Komori said.
"Thank you, mother. It seems somebody still cares, oh I'm sorry you never did." Adam said towards Shinda.
"You bastard, I aught to kick your ass right now." Shinda replied.
"Nows not the time for this boys, speak Adam." Komori said.
"There is a soul, something beyond anybody's power, even yours, mother. I'm sure you know what I'm referring to. It's been taking down your universe for millenniums now, and I've found a way to stop it. You see I was never dead, but rather sent into another realm where I was able to see this thing be created, and watched it destroy planet after planet slowly. Rumors say it's name is the Lost Soul, and I know how to stop it." Adam explained.
"You, you know how to stop the Lost Soul?" Shinda asked.
"Correct, and I want you to know something. For as long as your father lives, it will continue plaguing the world and sending Eve closer and closer to death." Adam said.
"What? What do you mean, closer to death?" Eve asked.
"Your father hasn't told you yet, has he?" Adam asked surprised. "Ever since day one, the only thing that was left for us was a time limit on how long we could live. Not because these two chose to do so, but because Shinda's father could not bare to have a second powerful child in his family. So during your second birthday, he casted a hex on you, decreasing your lifespan for as long as he is alive. Of course he's a good man, raised you like his own. However, if you don't stop him now, there's more than a time limit that you'll have to deal with." Adam explained. Eve looked at Shinda, and then at Komori. Komori knew this day would come, the day that Eve would learn she would have limited time to live. Shinda shook his head.
"There's no way we could defeat my father." Shinda said.
"Shinda, your daughter and the entire universe is at stake. And you know exactly why you're trapped here. Your father told you he was through with you and this is why you're here, trapped in planet Earth." Adam explained.
"My father? You mean, the reason I can't leave this damn planet is because my father sent that star at me? And let me guess, he put a hex on it, trapping me here." Shinda assumed.
"Correct, your father banished you from Gehenna, and just in time to prepare things to take your powers away. He can't bare to be overthrown, or weaker than his own child. You, Shinda, are strong. Not as strong as Satan yet, but you are strong. You and mother both know that Satan has been planning to throw you into plain mortality and the weak human life. You wouldn't last a day, you'd die the moment he'd take away your immortality." Adam explained.
"How do you know all this, Adam?" Komori asked.
"Simply put, I've been around, I've learned and watched. Everything in my mind leads to one simple thing. Take out the Lost Soul. End Satan, Shinda, you would be the ruler, the master. Everything you grew up for leads to this. Shinda, King of Gehenna." Adam said. Everybody gave Adam a long look, and turned to Shinda. Shinda was looking down, unsure if this was the right idea. Shinda knew for a long time, that if he wanted Eve to live for a longer time, he would have to stop his father. Little did he know, that ending his father would bring him one step closer to avenging his dear wife, Aki. Komori stepped up, after a long pause.
"A-Adam, you're alive?" Komori asked in confusion. "I could never revive you, how did this happen?" she continued.
"Mother, I saw you struggle to save me, and bring me back. However, you were unable to do exactly that, because I was never dead, but rather out of my body. I was turned into a spirit, and left here to sit and watch over everybody, like a god." Adam explained. Everybody looked at Komori, who was only seconds away from tearing up.
"Komori, is everything alright?" Tsuri asked.
"A long time ago, a demon requested a child from me. I decided to create two children, to assure the demon's child would not be alone. However, the demon chose to only take one child, the female. The other child was tossed to the side in the Garden of Eden. I could not watch the child die, so I decided to raise it myself. However, this child did not posses immortality, and was supposed to die like any other human. That child, is Adam." Komori explained.
"So then, Eve was the other child. Meaning that Shinda was the demon who requested the child?" Tsuri assumed.
"Correct." Adam said nodding his head. "I hold no grudge against Shinda, as he requested a single child, and no demon has enough heart to care about leaving a newborn on its own." he explained. Komori remained in shock, as her child was there, right in front of her after all these years. Eve nodded her head.
"Alright then, lets kick Grandpa's ass." She demanded. Everybody looked at Eve with long, sad faces. "Whats the matter?" Eve questioned.
"Eve, you can't enter hell, remember?" Shinda said. "After Azazel created the law that keeps you out of the planet to assure your safety." Shinda explained.
"Fuck that shit, I'll break the barrier myself." Eve said. "I'm not leaving you all to do this yourselves." she continued.
"Even if you manage to break through we can't handle everything protecting Lucifer on our own, we need a team, an army." Komori explained.
"I've got a team." a mysterious voice said from behind the group. The group looked behind themselves, to see a woman in a long black and torn robe. She was wearing a hood, but red hair was coming out of it. The woman took off the hood, revealing her fully black eyes, that also had the same orbs flying around like Eve. "And you better bet we'll kick father's sorry ass back to empty space." she said. The woman was no other than Wrath, Shinda's favorite sister, and Eve's favorite aunt.
"Aunt Wrath!" Eve screamed, running at her and giving her a hug.
"The Seven Deadly sins, versus Gehenna's finest army. What do you think Shin?" Komori asked. After a long pause, Shinda picked his head up and looked directly at Eve and Wrath.
"I think we've got a shot at this." Shinda said.
"Then it is decided, the revolution against Satan will begin." Adam says. The group looked at each other, and then at Wrath. Moments later, two demons appeared side by side next to Wrath.
"We're ready" the demons said. Everybody surrounded Shinda, besides Eve, who stood next to Adam. Shinda created an orb around everybody, and in moments, disappeared.
"You think they could do it, Adam?" Eve asked.
"I think they'll do the job." Adam explained.
Chapter 6.5 - ςгเ๓ร๏ภ г๏รєร
"It's a pleasure, madam Kage." the man said. Eve looked at the man, and then at Adam, who had been grinning with red eyes. She quickly pulled out her Necronomicon and knife.
"Who are you?" Eve asked the man.
"But I could only be, the one and only, mademoiselle." he said to Eve. "In my land, they call me Judas Uragirimono" he explained. "But you, my lady, you may call me Shinigami-sama" he requested.
"You? You're the Shinigami? The man who jumps planets and hunts down the unworthy and weak?" Eve asks.
"That is correct, I am flattered that you have heard of me, aimer." he answered.
"So why go after somebody that isn't weak, or unworthy?" she asked him.
"Ah, chere fille, my job is not only to take out the weak and unworthy. Especially when there is a bounty on somebody's head." Judas replied, pulling out a wanted paper posted by the Shadow Lords that had Eve's name on it.
"Those bastards, I knew it wouldn't be that simple to be granted the legal freedom to read and use forbidden spells." Eve concluded.
"Oui, madam Kage, and now it is time for my reward." Judas said. He began to charge his laser crossbow, and aimed at Eve who stood in place ready to dodge at any time.
Eve stood still, and just as she was going to make a side step, she realized she had been trapped in a paralysis hex made by Judas moments before he started the laser.
"You bastard, you bastard!!" She screamed. Eve struggled to move, but made no progress escaping the paralysis hex. The laser was finally charged up, and Judas launched it right at Eve. Only seconds from reaching Eve, however, the laser was deflected, hitting Adam in the process. Adam fell to the ground, and stopped moving from then on. Eve looked around, trying to understand what could have stopped the laser. Finally, Eve spots a man standing on top of a tree, holding the Kusanagi blade. In moments, Eve's eyes widen at the sight of the blade, that she had seen plenty of times before.
"I-Iblis..?" Eve stuttered to say. The man was wearing a black shirt, black shorts with a single red symbol on the left, had a red bandage wrapped around the arm that held the Kusanagi, and a red scarf that was moving with the wind, also covering his mouth.
"Judas." the man said. "I think it's finally time that you learn your place." he finished.
"Iblis, my good old friend! I'm so glad you came to visit your girlfriend on the day of her execution." Judas replied. Iblis jumped off the tree and landed in front of Judas.
"I'm done playing the chasing game with you Judas, it's time you go straight to the depths of Gehenna" Iblis replied. In seconds, Judas jumped back and charged his crossbow with a devilish grin. Iblis stood in place, and when Judas launched his lazer, he vanished. Moments later, Iblis appeared out of a dark portal and swung his Kusanagi at Judas, but Judas vanished as well. Judas reappeared in the air and sent a lazer at Iblis, but Iblis created a portal just in time to avoid being hit. The battle had begun, one dark portal here, a red portal there, lazers coming from several directions and massive blade-like shadows flew around like it was a light show. Eve watched, still paralized, as nobody was winning the battle. Both of the men were very powerful, keeping the odds of the battle even. Finally Iblis and Judas appeared back on the ground, and looked at each other. Neither of them were scratched or tired.
"That Kusagani, quite something to bring home as a trophy." Judas explained.
"Ah, and your Ishuyumi would be great for my many jobs." Iblis replied. They both looked at each other for a moment, and then went back to battling. Suddenly, Iblis' eyes turned black, and like Eve, had orbs flying around in them. However, instead of having white orbs, his were red. Judas grinned, and backed away. Iblis took on swing towards Judas' location, and sent a massive shadow from his blade flying through the forest. His eyes turned back to the normal colors. Iblis had a black right eye, and a red left one. Judas was nowhere to be found, so Iblis took the advantage to run to Eve.
"You.. you're alive..?" Eve looked with tears in her eyes.
"In the flesh." Iblis replied wiping the tears off of Eve's left cheek.
"I thought I lost you, such a long time ago." Eve said looking at him. Iblis put his palm on Eve's stomach and Eve dropped to the ground.
"They've all been whispers in the dark." Iblis replied, vanishing into the darkness. Eve looked around, and noticed Judas reappearing. Iblis swung at Judas, but Judas back flipped to avoid the attack. While in the air, Judas fired a laser, and sent himself higher into the sky. Iblis dodged the attack, and jumped into the air to attempt another strike at Judas. Judas spins away from the attack, and hits Iblis away with his wrist. Iblis quickly gained balance again and looked back at Judas, who had been charging a laser. Judas launched the laser, and Iblis had just enough time to deflect it. The impact of the laser, however was strong, sending both Iblis and Judas flying in opposite directions. Iblis smashed into a massive tree, and Judas into a rocky hill. For a moment, there was silence, then they both came out of the dust of the impact, and walked slowly towards each other. Judas was dragging his weapon around on the ground, until he picked it up with his other hand, and transformed it into a massive blade. They ran at each other, and began to fight sword to sword. Every eighth consecutive strike, one of them vanished and appeared behind the other, creating a chain of dodges that restarted in a massive sword battle. At one moment, Iblis vanished behind Judas, but Judas had no time to avoid the attack, so instead, he picked his sword up with both hands, one on the blade tip, and the other on the holdable area, and went into a limbo position, stopping Iblis' strike from hitting him. Iblis was then pushed back, and Judas back flipped back into a standing stance. Judas spun around and ran at Iblis, who quickly jumped up, and attempted another strike at Judas. Judas quickly jumped to the side, and stabbed his blade into the ground to keep his balance. Judas took the opportunity to spin off his grounded blade and kicked Iblis in the thigh. Iblis was sent flying, but quickly regained control and used a spell to land on a glyph. Using the glyph, he flew at Judas and punched him in the stomach. Iblis stabbed his sword into the ground and front flipped to catch up to Judas, and judo kicked him into the ground. Using his ability, Iblis had his sword appear in his hands, and kept his foot on Judas. As Iblis was about to strike Judas down, Judas threw dirt into Iblis' eyes and kicked him off. They stood in the center of the garden, both cut and bruised. Eve remained on the ground, unable to move. For a long moment, they stared at each other, letting the wind blow Iblis' scarf around and Judas' feather as well.
Eve looked at them both, and suddenly a massive explosion happens in between Iblis and Judas. When the explosion fades away, the battle went on. One strike after another Judas and Iblis went on and on deflecting their attacks. Iblis managed to trip Judas, and began to rapidly strike at Judas, who used all his strength to keep his blade in place. Finally, with one strike, Judas dropped his blade. Iblis looked at Judas, and took one more swing to finish Judas off, who made a final grin and closed his eyes. A massive wind flew out from the center of the garden, and suddenly a light flew out into the sky. Judas' body was gone, along with his weapon. Eve looked at Iblis, who had finally won the battle. He walked to Eve, and picked her up.
"You're alright, Eve." Iblis said. Eve nodded, and looked at him.
"Does this mean, you're staying with me?" Eve asked. Iblis looked at her, and shook his head.
"I can't.. not after what happened last time. I can't have you risk your life again." Iblis explained. "But I promise I'll be back." he continued as he touched Eve's head, removing the paralysis and adding another orb to each of her eyes. "Eve, I'm sorry I've been gone. Without a trace." he finished. She regains balance, and looks at him.
"You're going to leave me, alone again, aren't you?" Eve asked.
"No, you'll never be alone. When darkness comes I'll light the night with stars." he replied. "Remember, that my love for you is here, waiting, to turn your tears to roses." he continued. He turned around, walked a few steps and vanished into the shadows. Eve looked towards where Iblis vanished, and then looked down at her hands, which were holding a rose. Eve began to sing.
"Despite the lies that you're making, your love is mine for the taking." she sang, as she gripped the rose, and let the wind blow her hair around. Eve looks at Adam, and runs to him. "Adam!? A-are you alright?" she asks.
"E-Eve.." Adam said, as he coughed up blood. "I hear whispers in the dark." he continued. "I've lied. A lot. Not against my will, but under the control of something cruel, evil, unstoppable." he finished.
"Adam, what are you talking about? Why did you let Judas attack me?" she questioned.
"Rosuto- T-Tum-.." Adam said, as his eyes went blank, and his head tilted. Eve looked at Adam's dead body, and looked at the sky. Adam's body shattered, and flew up into the sky. Eve knew there was only one thing she could do now. She stood up, looked at the destroyed garden, and opened her Necronomicon. Quickly, she created a portal, and walked in. On the other side, she appeared just outside of planet Gehenna. Her eyes turned a bright orange, but her pupils were dilated. The four orbs in her eyes turned black, and sped up gradually. She picked her arm up, and opened her palm. She opened the Necronomicon again using one hand, and created an orange orb in her hand, which sent orange electricity to attack the barrier of Gehenna that kept her out for so long.
Chapter 7 - Rise In Hell (Part 1)
"DANCE OF THE ETERNAL BLADES" they chanted, as a purple and red aura came out of the spinning tornado. Komori and Shinda were ready to launch, and blasted sonic speed at the hound, flying right through it, tearing it apart in the process.
Komori and Shinda fell to their knees, the attack has yet to be perfected, as their souls are still unable to bind together perfectly. Tsuri used his healing spell on the two, and they got up instantly. Consequently, their souls are at a weak point for the next few hours, disabling their weapon charges for the same duration. Out of the dark tainted shadows echoed claps and footsteps. Shinda knew what came next, the battle to decide it all. The shadows began to vanish, as they were being covered with a black fog. Out of the fog a human-shaped man came out clapping and chuckling. Shinda in shock jumped back, as this was not his father that they were about to fight. The demon was in human form, wearing a black suit, with a red dress shirt underneath, along with a black tie with red splashes on it.
"You know, you guys really give Lord Lucifer a hard time with his job." the demon said. Shinda knew it was no other than Satan's most powerful follower, Asura.
"Shinda, why do you fight against your own father, especially now that, he's all you've got left?" Asura asked. Shinda turned pale, he knew what Asura meant, they had captured Eve. Komori put her hand on Shinda's shoulder, and told him Eve can manage on her own, now that she is the only full-demon child he has. Asura grinned, his eyes began to glow red, and out of his suit he pulled out a small charm shaped like a triton, similar to that of the druid's charm. Shinda was unsure of the next move, as he has never seen Asura in action. Waiting patiently, Asura's charm turned into a full sized black triton, with glowing red tips.
"Now, shall we begin?" Asura asked, as a force sent all but himself in the room into a wall. Shinda got up quickly, and stood his guard knowing that Asura had strength beyond his knowledge. Komori gave Asura one look, and jumped towards him with her rapier. Every attack Komori made, as rapid as they were, Asura managed to dodge without a sweat. "You? The Goddess of Creation? Unable to beat a mere demon such as I?" Asura teased.
"You've always been one to joke, Asura, maybe you should remove the spell shield so I could show you my true power, you coward." Komori comments. Asura laughs, gives Komori a funny look and vanished. The three of them looked around, but Asura was nowhere to be seen. Shinda had a sense, and quickly reacted to Asura's first attack.
"Using speed against me of all people Asura? I thought you knew me more than this you foolish butler." Shinda said entertained.
"Now lets not get too far ahead of ourselves, child of the lord." Asura says back in the shadows. Out of the fog Asura lunges himself at Tsuri, but is deflected by a nature shield that could be cast against the spell shield.
"Don't you think at all before you strike, demon?" Tsuri asks.
"Ah, but I already have.." Asura remarks. Tsuri looks down, and notices black vines surrounding his legs. The vines grip onto the druid, and throw him across the room into the wall.
"TSURI!" Komori shouts.
"Oh hush up now my lady, lets not make this too over dramatic.." Asura says as he strikes at Shinda. Asura's Triton goes right through Shinda. His eyes go blank and he coughs blood, falling to the floor without a fighting chance, and being kicked into the shadows of the room. Komori looks at Shinda's dead body lying on the floor of his own throne room. "You bastard.. you wont win this fight." Komori says angrily.
"Ah but I already have, what power do you have without the son of Lucifer himself to fight?" Asura replies.
"You're wrong.." a voice echoes in the shadows. Shinda walks out of the shadows, as if the attack Asura just made meant nothing.
"Wh-what?! You could not have possibly survived such a blow!" Asura says. Shinda walks out of the shadows with a bright red hoodie, and black jeans.
"You will always be a simple butler, that happened to get lost in the woods on his way to slaughter a poor girl's grandmother." Shinda said with a calm voice. Asura backed away, in fear of Shinda's strange look. "But I, will be the Little Red child that stops you in the end." Shinda finishes. Shinda flies at Asura with his katana, striking blows from all directions. Asura deflected several attacks, and even managed to throw Shinda back for a few seconds. Shinda gives Asura a large grin, and sends Asura flying at the wall. Asura could no longer move, he was stuck on the wall by Shinda's force. Shinda gave Asura a final look, smiled, and ended him. Asura slowly turned into dust, and vanished. Tsuri got back up, and Komori ran to Shinda.
"Are you alright? Wh-what is this new form?" Komori asked.
"I'm alright, I'm not sure, but I like it." Shinda replied.
The throne room began to shake, and the floor started to collapse. Laughs echoed through the room and the three characters went flying down with the remains of the floor. Shinda was the first to hit the floor, but he managed to land using the walls and floor parts. Tsuri used his vines to surf down rapidly through the walls. Komori simply flew down and landed ready for the next fight.
"Komori... Tsuri... Shinda... why...?" a dark scary voice echoed.
"Father, this is the only way, and you know it! Let it happen so we could save everybody!" Shinda yelled.
"That, will not be necessary, my child." Lucifer replies. The giant hole in the ceiling is covered up by a red barrier. A shadow appears in the center of the large room. "Because, when I am done with you all, there will be no saving." Lucifer finishes. The shadow multiplies into 20 other shadows, all with different shapes of different demons, and different weapons. The shadows attack the all three characters, but are too powerful to be stopped. Shinda swung several times, but only managed to kill one shadow before another on appeared.
"Let me introduce you, my friends, to my eternal shadows." Satan said. Tsuri managed to kill two, but another five had been created by that time. Shinda fell to his knees, as he knew it was helpless. Komori used several casts of light, but only managed to stop the production of shadows for a few seconds. Tsuri now too, fell to his knees feeling helpless. Komori looked as more and more shadows formed from the source, and she lunged at the source, hoping she could do something. However, a barrier deflected her attack, and sent her flying at the wall. Shinda stood up and tried the same, but was stopped by the shadows before he had a chance to strike. Tsuri tried helping Shinda by slowing down the shadows, but was knocked down by the shadows before he could cast his spell. It was hopeless, there was nothing they could do.
"Farewell, dear traitors. It is a shame, son, that you had to turn against me like this." Satan said. The shadows flew back into the source, and sent all three travelers at the wall. Shinda's bright red hoodie shattered in moments, leaving red particles flying around him, back in his normal form. The shadow formed three large crystals in the air, and sent them into the hearts of the three travellers. Shinda, Komori, and Tsuri, were no more. Satan made a single sigh, and was about to finish them for good, when he was frozen in place.
"Obice tollere oblitus dominum hunc locum me dæmonio liberarem." was clearly heard from above the battle room. Satan, still unable to move made every attempt he could to do something. Shinda looked up, with all the strength he had left, and saw a girl in a black skirt, and black hood descend from the broken barrier ceiling.
"You've done enough, grandfather." the girl said.
"EVE!" Satan shouted in surprise. Eve put her hand up, with her palm facing her grandfather.
"Let hoc daemon , dominus daemonum nunc quiescere. Set viribus corruptione ad ipsos per somnum alius animo color." she began to read rapidly, as her eyes began to glow a bright white and her palm created a symbol of anti-christ. Satan began to scream in pain, and the crystals turned into dust particles, releasing Shinda, Koromi, and Tsuri. Shinda tried to get up, but could only manage to gasp for air. "Hoc prohibere , trepidationique tenebrarum creaturam creati , et transeat vires verum alia recta in." Eve continued to chant. Shinda took one more look, and fainted.
"Stop it! Eve stop this nonsense!" Satan demanded.
"Tenebris animal hoc dimittant , a rabie quae prohibere creatura Creatori , mali exitus manet anima.... AND RETURN HIM INTO THE CHALICE OF AN UNBORN DEMON!" Eve finished.
"Nooooo!!" Satan screamed as his ashes turned into a massive vortex, and flew off into the chalice that once trapped Satan's soul.
Shinda took a large gasp, and woke up from his near eternal sleep, along with Komori and Tsuri. They stood up, and looked at the only other person in the room, the person being Eve. Shinda looked at Eve, and limped to her. Eve ran to Shinda, and hugged him.
"You... you did it Eve.. you defeated your grandfather..." Shinda said with all the energy he had left in him. Eve smiled, and then emerged a face of fear.
"Father... no..." Eve said afraid. Shinda looked at Eve, and realized exactly what she was afraid of. A large scream echoed down, leaving Eve and Shinda looking up in fear. A dark entity comes flying down and smashes into the ground. After the dust cleared from the crash, a grey man with black wings and red hair kneeling down submerged. The man stood up, and appeared to be wearing nothing, until a black cloak appeared on him. Shinda and Eve looked right at the man, and knew that this was truly the final battle. Komori realized now, that this really is the final battle.
"Now... you're a clever little bitch aren't you?" the man says as he walked slowly to Eve.
"Eve, run... NOW Eve!" Shinda screamed. Eve started to walk back, while turning through the pages of her Necronomicon hoping to find something to end this once and for all. Shinda jumped at the man, and took a mighty swing. The man only smacked Shinda away, ignoring all the effort that was just put into that one attack.
"Come here granddaughter, come here and join my soul in eternal suffering!" the man, who appeared to be Satan said. Komori and Tsuri made all the attempts they could to slow down Satan, but it was no use. Satan grabbed Eve, and began to crush her with his giant hands.
"You could send my soul into a chalice, but you will never destroy my true form.." Satan says angrily.
"Stop this right now Lucifer!" the sound of two girls came from up above. Wrath and Envy flew in, and started firing blood orbs at Satan.
"You bastards..." Satan said, as he swung at the girls and smashed them through the wall. Eve started to chant an exorcism, while Komori and Tsuri powered up to try and stop Satan further. Shinda remained on the floor, unable to move from the power of that one strike. Wrath and Envy collapsed on top of each other, and remained unconcious. Komori sent a massive holy blast at Satan, but all it did was send it right back at her, and knocked Komori down. Tsuri tied vines around Satan, which actually managed to stop him temporarily. Shinda knew what had to happen, so he struggled to get up, and limped to Komori to whisper his plan. Komori, Shinda, and Tsuri combined their weapons, and started to chant;
"Komori-uta, kyūkyoku no sutoraiki no tame ni awaseta shinrin, akuma!!!". The weapons began to glow, and the three characters went flying at Satan with everything that remained in their strengths to stop him. The attack succeeded, and went right through Satan. Satan fell to the floor, and let Eve down. Eve quickly used a spell to turn the body into stone without a second thought, and destroyed it instantly with the snap of a finger. It was finally over, the battle was won. Out of the blue, a purple light flew down into the room, and took the shape of a purple outline of a human. The purple entity walked to the chalice of Satan, and absorbed all the power within it. Eve looked at it in fear, and the entity gave the room one look before vanishing. Everybody in the room fainted.
Chapter 7.5 - Good Left Undone (Part 2)
"Everybody up now!" Shinda screamed. Everybody but Eve barely got up. "Gehenna's falling, Komori we need to get out. Right- Now-." Shinda quickly explained. Komori attempted to make a portal, but was too weak to do so. Everybody looked at Shinda. Shinda thought for a moment, and picked up Eve. "We're going to have to run." Shinda said, running to the staircase. Everybody followed, as the castle began shaking and falling apart. Running up the staircase felt like hours, until finally the stairs began falling apart from behind. At this point, all they could hope for is to reach the top before the falling stairs reached them. Finally at the top of the staircase, Shinda kicks open the door, and runs into the room. Once everybody reached the room, they noticed Shinda standing in place.
"What's the matter, Shinda?" Tsuri asked curiously. Everybody looked ahead of Shinda, where there was a boy wearing a large red robe floating in the air. The boy was holding a large scythe that had blood dripping off of it.
"Why... father..?" the boy asked Shinda. "D-did you think, I would let you get away with this...?" he asked.
"Azazel, not now. The entire planet is falling apart! We need to get out of here!" Shinda explained. The boy shook his head, and laughed.
"You betrayed us, and I made a promise, t-to stop anybody who tried to take us down." Azazel explained. Eve opened her eyes, and looked at Azazel with her blurry vision.
"A...Za...Zel..." Eve whispered. Eve's eyes widened, and quickly she jumped out of Shinda's arms and floated in the air.
"Eve! No! We don't have time for this, not right now!" Shinda explained. Eve's eyes were a pure red, but the four orbs in her eyes were orange. Eve chuckled, as if she had lost her mind. With a large grin, Eve summoned her Nagamaki, and launched herself at Azazel. Eve made one swing with her blade, and everybody automatically assumed she had lost her mind. Eve barely moved or controlled her own body, everything seems loose, as she had only used her right arm and legs to attack. She made twists and turns that almost seemed like her bones were not there. Azazel blocked every strike Eve made, until he saw the open moment to use his palm to push her back with a spirit blast. Eve stood still, and waited for Azazel to strike at her now. However, Azazel was only ever trained defensive attacks. He stood in place, also waiting for Eve to attack him. Eve made a large smile, and spun herself up to launch into Azazel again. The temple began to fall apart now, as the roof was completely ripped up and swallowed into a massive vortex in the Gehenna sky.
"Azazel! You can't do this, not right now!" Komori shouted.
"You're not my mother.." Azazel said, dodging Eve's following attack. Wrath and Envy flew up to the sky, and charged at Azazel.
"Girls! No!" Shinda screamed. It was too late, both of the girls attempted to attack Azazel, but were grabbed by his scythe, and thrown at the wall.
"Aunties... you too...?" Azazel asked. "Very well.. I supposed I need to take you all on..?" he continued asking. Eve flew at Azazel, who was not paying attention, and hit him up higher into the sky, and closer to the vortex. They continued to fight up in the sky, while the group watched from down below, too weak to do anything.
"You've done enough, Eve. You betrayed our empire, our world! Kill our lord!" Azazel said in anger. Eve grinned, made a head-tilt, and looked at Azazel with no emotion.
"All because of you, I haven't slept in so long... when I do I dream.. of drowning in the ocean.." Eve said to him. Azazel looked at Eve blankly, and took his hood off.
"A long time ago, when we were separated, the first thing I did was find a flower, a red rose. I planted it into the ground and walked away. Every day that I remember our separation I feel this burn, because I knew nothing would be the same. But this.. this is a new level of betrayal. This is not what I wanted for us both, a battle like this..." Azazel explained. "Come with me, we could rebuild the empire, we could stop your father's wrath." he finished. Eve gazed at Azazel, and suddenly her eyes started to glow white. Eve tried to catch her breath, but started struggling in the sky. She began to scream, as her veins started to show, but as a bright blue. Suddenly, Eve was seen as a bright light, blinding everybody for the moment. Her screams echoed through Gehenna, and all of the demons gazed at her from the cities below. When the light dimmed out, Eve was curled up in a ball, but had two white wings coming out of her back. Komori's eyes widened, and her mouth was wide open. Shinda looked at Komori, and then back at Eve. Tsuri stood around, not understanding what was going on. Azazel was confused, he stared at Eve and then at her wings. "What... is this...?" Azazel asked. Eve got out of her current position, and floated in the air. Her hair was white, and her eyes were a bright turquoise. The orbs were not moving, but rather changed their color to white. Eve blinked once, and the orbs moved clockwise every few seconds. She stretched her wings, and let them wave around in the falling sky.
"K-Komori... what...?" Shinda said in shock.
"I... I'm not sure what's going on, Shinda..." Komori replied. Eve created a massive wind around her, and let her wings open wide. She quickly vanished, leaving everybody confused. Looking through the sky, they were unable to spot her, until they gazed at Azazel, who started falling out of the sky. Moments later, Eve reappears, and caught Azazel before he plummeted into the ground. She flew him to where the rest of the group was, and nodded. Everybody looked at her, still confused, especially Komori, who had no idea what was going on. Eve gave Shinda a smile, stuck her tongue out at him, and with great speed, flew up into the sky, vanishing from the planet. A portal appeared behind the group, and they gazed at it for a long moment. The temple continued to crumble, so finally they decided to jump through it. Shinda took Azazel, and Komori managed to pull Wrath and Envy in as well. On the other side of the portal, they appeared on the balcony of Komori's Castle, where planet Gehenna was in view. Everybody watched as the planet slowly crumbled, and it's glowing orange color died out. Moments later, the planet exploded, leaving a small flame floating through space. Shinda looked down, and got up, walking into the castle. Komori stayed gazing at space, trying to figure out what had happened to Eve. Tsuri walked up to Komori and looked at space as well.
"You know, there are legends.. about a demon who was blessed by a goddess. That blessing was only to keep the demon from losing their mind, or from causing massive damage to the universe. However, after some time, it came to the goddess' attention that her blessing was removed by the Devil himself. So the demon went mad, and nearly destroyed all of the universe. The goddess could not stop the demon, so she created something that could. An angel. However, the goddess' intention was to have the demon and the angel destroy each other. This intention failed, as the demon and the angel had fallen in love. At the time, the demon already had a child, but the angel already knew that something bad had been on it's way. A few days later, the angel felt ill, and decided she would give her powers to her child oldest child, leaving the child to become half demon, and half angel..." Tsuri explained. "Of course it's just a tale.." he finished. Komori looked at Tsuri, and then quickly at the planet. She turned around and looked at Shinda, who had been walking slowly to the bedroom. "However... I think there was a catch to the story.. something about the powers only activating at the return of the angel herself... or something.." he mentioned, as he turned around and followed Shinda to the bedroom. Komori looked through space, and began to sing a new lullaby.
"Scream and cry
But none will hear you
Plead and beg
But none will help you
You no longer live as cattle
Will you rise and join the battle?"
The lullaby echoed through space, as Komori looked around. A light began to shine nearby, so Komori continued.
"There is a wild fire inside you
Burning desire you can't extinguish
Your crimson arrow
Rips through the twilight
This is the moment for war"
Suddenly the light flew to Komori, and appeared in the shape of a woman. The woman had long, reddish-orange hair, and bright hazel eyes. She was wearing a long white dress, without shoes. Suddenly they both began singing the next part of the lullaby;
"Channel the anger swelling inside you
Fighting the boundary 'till you break through
Deep in your soul there's no hesitation
So make yourself the one they all fear"
Komori smiled, as did the woman. The woman created a small light orb, and sent it slowly to Komori, who caught it, and looked at it. The orb had bright white sand in it, moving around with red and yellow leaves. Komori looked up to thank the woman, but she had already left. Her smile left her face. She turned around, and walked to the bedroom following everybody else.
Chapter 8 - Angel Theories
"Good morning! I hope you three rested well!" the servant said. Unlike the commonly seen human race, this servant was a Truffle. The Truffle race is very fond of the Goddess Komori, and are the largest race that believes in her existence. The Truffles were not large creatures, they were green-skinned, with yellow or orange eyes. Regardless of their colors, they were the most adorable creatures in the universe, and have yet to be in a single war. However, the Truffle race will do anything and everything to protect their goddess. Komori nods to the Truffle with a smile.
"Thank you Kikiro, I'll take the usual." Komori says to the Truffle.
"Okay! What about you Mr. Shinda Kage?" the Truffle asks.
"Black Coffee, and, Kikiro, you know you could call me Shin." Shinda replied.
"Oh but sir! That would be improper and disrespectful!" the Truffle says to Shinda. Shinda smiles at her, and hands Kikiro a shining crystal. Kikiro has always been amazed by crystals, and Shinda always brings her one when he visits, even if it's unintentional. "Th-thank you Si-"
"Shinda, or Shin. We're friends Kikiro there's no need for formal naming." Shinda says as he sat down on the couch.
"Very well!....Sh-Shinda!" Kikiro says smiling and running to Tsuri. "And you sir! What would you be having?" Kikiro asks Tsuri.
"I'd like coffee, tea isn't really my thing..." Tsuri requests.
"Yes sir, mister druid sir!" Kikiro responds and runs off to the kitchen.
"She hasn't changed on bit, Komori." Shinda says.
"Kikiro is a lovely one, cute and always respectful to her guests." Komori explains.
"So, shes a Truffle? What an adorable race. They don't go around destroying my damn plants either." Tsuri claims.
"The Truffles are a race of peace and harmony. As a matter of fact it is very rare to see a Truffle do anything chaotic, since they live off of sugary sweets." Komori explains.
"Yeah! They're chocolate is the best stuff I've tasted in the universe." Shinda explains. "Especially now that they're the most traded with race around." Shinda continues.
"Ah yes, their chocolate is splendid." Komori agrees.
"Hey, Wrath, have you got any of the Truffle's world famous chocolate?" Shinda asks.
"Mhm!" Wrath says, as she looked through her bag, and tossed it at Shinda. Shinda ripped a piece off, and handed it to Tsuri.
"The chocolate never expires, it's amazing. No chemicals, just Truffle 'magic' and one hell of a chef." Shinda explains. Tsuri took a bite of the chocolate, his eyes opened wide, and he ate the rest of it.
"That is delicious! I have never eaten such perfection before in my life!" Tsuri explains.
"Ah, you will never find any better chocolate." Shinda confirms. Moments later, Kikiro comes running out of the kitchen.
"MRS. KOMORI!" Kikiro screams.
"Wh-what is it Kikiro..?" Komori asks as she jumped out of the chair.
"W-We..." Kikiro begins to say as she tears up.
"Spit it out girl!" Komori replies.
"WE'RE OUT OF SUGAAAAR!" Kikiro yells. Shinda and Tsuri fall off the couch backwards, and Komori remained standing. Komori blinked a few times, and started laughing.
"Silly Kikiro! Did you check the basement..?" Komori replied with laughter.
"Oh.. uhm..." Kikiro turned around and walked down into the basement. "NEVERMIND, I FOUND IT!" Kikiro replied. Everybody started laughing now. Kikiro comes up the stairs slowly with a giant bag of sugar, and nearly falls backwards. Tsuri managed to catch her before hand, and put her down off the staircase. "Th-thank you Mr. Druid man!" she says with a smile.
"Anytime!" Tsuri replies. Kikiro runs into the kitchen, and comes out moments later with two trays of drinks. She went up to every person and gave them the drink they asked for. She bowed down, and turned around.
"Now, for breakfast we shall be having.. pancakes!" Kikiro said, as around twelve Truffles come running out of the kitchen and place a stack of eight pancakes on everybody's plates, while two other Truffles poured maple syrup on top. "Enjoy!" Kikiro finished with a cute tone. Everybody began chowing down, but Shinda seemed to not want any food. Komori looked at him, and placed her hand on his shoulder.
"Eat, we can discuss what happened yesterday later. You need food after the fight, or you'll never heal." Komori explained to him. Shinda nodded and started eating as well. Once everybody finished, Kikiro came out of the kitchen and up to Wrath, who still had a single pancake on her plate.
"Excuse me miss Wrath, will you be finish that...?" Kikiro asked with a cute chuckle.
"Ehh... I'm full so I think I'll j-" Wrath replied until;
"EAT IT YOU FILTHY SWINE." Kikiro screamed at her. Wrath instantly ate the entire pancake, with large fear in her eyes. Everybody stared at Kikiro, and then at Komori. Komori shrugged.
"She needs to be a strong and demanding woman, okay?" Komori explained. Everybody laughed, and Kikiro began to clean up the table. Once the room was clean, Komori dimmed the room down, and stood in the middle of everybody, who sat in a circle around her. "Now... about yesterday." Komori began.
"Did you see what happened to Eve? She went total freako..!" Wrath explained.
"Yes, she did. There may be an explanation behind it, and you could thank Tsuri for it." Komori explained as she pointed at Tsuri.
"What I do?" Tsuri questioned.
"The story about the half angel half demon, it's no tale." Komori explained. "Now, a long time ago, Shinda had a wife.." she began explaining. Shinda looked at Komori, and quickly stood up.
"Hold up, you think Aki was an angel!? That's not possible, she said she was a human, she wouldn't like to me." Shinda claimed.
"Shinda, why else would something go after her?" Komori replied. "Aki and I were close friends, and you know that, because I mentioned to you that there's something weird going on with her." Komori explained.
"That 'thing' that decided to do what it did was there because it assumed Aki was trouble, remember?" Shinda said.
"Angels are trouble, especially when most of them are around to stop danger from spreading." Komori replied.
"What the fuck does this even mean!? Aki wasn't the one that created Eve..." Shinda paused. "Unless she..." he continued realizing what Aki must have done.
"She knew she would die, and so she decided to give Eve her powers. However, there was a catch." Komori explained.
"You mean... the powers would only activate if the source returned..?" Tsuri wondered.
"That's right Tsuri, and that could only mean one thing." Komori continued.
"Aki... she's.. alive..?" Shinda said picking his head up. Komori nodded, and tossed the light orb she recieved infront of herself. The orb began to glow bright, and floated right in front of Komori.
"Shinda... come touch the orb." Komori requested. Shinda got up slowly, and walked his way to the orb.
"Aki... my wife..." Shinda said with hope, as he placed his palm on the orb. The orb began to shine bright, and in moments, transformed into the shape of a woman. The part that Shinda had been holding transformed into Aki's hand, and followed to create the rest of her body. Shinda looked at her with his eyes wide open. Everybody stared at the two, and Wrath quickly jumped up.
"What the fuck?" Wrath questioned. "What kind of foofoo shit just happened here?" she asked.
"Aki...?" Shinda asked.
"It's been a while, my darling." Aki replied, as she gave him a big smile.
"What in the actual fuck just happened?" Wrath asked. "Seriously this is some black magic or something" she continued. Aki stepped back for a moment, and released her wings from the inside of her bright white dress. She had not been wearing shoes, just the white dress. She fixed her long orange hair, and blinked, changing her eye color to the original hazel color they had been. "Seriously... what." Wrath questioned one last time. A shadow comes from outside the room.
"Mom...?" Azazel asks, as he comes in to the room. Everybody looked around in confusion.
Chapter 9 - The Impossible
"Plant it somewhere special, it's not just any sort of tree." Komori explained. Tsuri looked at the seed, which had been sparkling, almost seeming blessed.
"An angel seed, huh?" Tsuri noticed, looking at it and putting it in his pocket. "Where'd you get it from?"
"The orb let go of a seed. I'm no expert in taking care of trees, I just create them." Komori explains as she smiles. "Use it when you absolutely need it, Tsuri. It'll save more than just a forest." she finishes explaining. Tsuri nods, and moves his attention back at Aki, Shinda, and Azazel. They finally stopped hugging, and looked at each other.
"Aki.. how did you survive..?" Shinda asked curiously. Aki looked at him, and then at Azazel.
"I knew it would happen before anyone else did." Aki explained. Everybody gazed at her in disbelief and confusion once again. "You see, the force that attacked me had been haunting my dreams for weeks before I could confirm it would really happen. Knowing I would be attacked and defeated by that thing, I went to the goddess for assistance, but she did not think it were true. Of course, it was a story nobody would believe. Who would think, a force so strong could be created by a bunch of kids?" Aki continued.
"Hey, watch it there Aki-pie." Wrath warned Aki humorously. Aki giggled, and looked back at Shinda.
"Hold on now, where is Eve?" Aki asked. Everybody's smile vanished, and everybody looked at Azazel, who had looked down in anger.
"Mother.. Eve and Father had killed the lord himself, Satan." Azazel explained. Aki looked at Shinda and nodded.
"It was a necessary cause, Azazel. It is better to forgive and forget, as now you are one of the very few demons left existent" Aki explained. "Lucifer had been plotting to betray his empire for ages before being taken down, unfortunately he could not go through with it, especially now that he's dead. Now, what happened with Eve?" she continued.
"We fought.. and she turned into an angel and flew away." Azazel explained. "My enemy.. just like...." Azazel continued, as he picked his head up to look at Aki. Azazel's eyes were bright red, with black cracks going around them. Azazel's scythe appeared in his hand, and he gazed at Aki with a devilish look. "You.... are my enemy...." Azazel finished. Aki looked at Azazel, and waited for him to attack.
"Azazel... What are you doing!?" Shinda asked. Aki shook her head.
"Now now Shinda, let the boy show me what he's learned over the years, will you?" Aki asked. Shinda stopped, and took a few steps back. Komori quickly reacted to the battle and changed everybody's location to a baron desert on the Truffle's Planet. Azazel cracked his neck and ran at Aki, while she stood still, waiting with no worries in her eyes. In moments, Azazel striked at Aki, but was stopped by Komori halfway through. Instead, Azazel had cut Komori's arm right off. Tsuri and Envy looked with disgust, while Shinda looked expressionlessly at the Goddess' injury. Only a few seconds later, Komori's arm grew back on, and the other arm shattered and became dust.
"Wh-What is...?" Azazel questioned. Komori moved aside, and showed Aki who's eyes had turned a full white. Aki pointed her palm at Azazel and created a small orb of light. Azazel's eyes widened, and he quickly jumped out of the way. Azazel, hid in his cloak, and only a moment later, vanished. Aki tossed the orb into the air, and it disintegrated. Shinda walked up to Aki, and looked at her. Aki looked at Shinda, and smiled.
"Azazel will always be in denial now, my dear." Aki explained. Komori moves everybody back to her castle, and Aki nods at her. "He's a full demon, corrupted by your father's sayings. He will never accept Eve or I as family again." she finishes explaining. Shinda nods, understanding the situation at hand. He turns to Tsuri, then to Komori. Suddenly that castle had started shaking. Everybody looked at Komori, who would be the only one to understand what was going on, but even her face was in confusion. Aki quickly grabbed Komori and flew out into space to check what was going on. Everybody ran out to the balcony to look at the two of them. Komori and Aki flew around the castle, checking for something that would be causing the shaking. Finally, Aki spotted four demons sending dark orbs at the castle. Komori and Aki grabbed each other’s hands, and flew straight at them. The demons took off their hoods and pulled out their weapons. Unfortunately, in the perimeter of the Goddess’ Kingdom, the only creatures that could use any sort of ability were Angels, or the Goddess herself. This left everybody else sitting in the back. Komori and Aki flew around each other, touched palms, and a massive wind surrounded them. Once the wind stopped, Aki's hair turned white, and her eyes were blue, with dark blue orbs spinning rapidly around. They looked at the sins expressionlessly, and waited.
“You have ruined our kingdom, and we have come to ruin yours. Prepare to die, Goddess.” Pride explained. Quickly, the seven sins joined weapons, and flew at the Goddess and Aki. Komori pulled out her rapier, and Aki pulled out her birght white orb. Greed and Pride looked at Aki, and laughed.
“You’re going to fight us with that?” Greed asked.
“How lame.” Pride added. Aki gave them one look, and turned her orb into a simple wooden staff. She began spinning it around and threw it directly at Greed, who had sliced it away. Moments later, the staff shattered, and the orb reappeared in Aki’s hands. Aki turned the orb into a Zanbato. Greed and Pride looked at Aki nervously, and got into their fighting positions. The two sins lunged themselves at Aki, and she swung at them, sending them both far back.
“Goddess oh Goddess, what’re we gonna do with ya?” Gluttony asked.
“Lets just get this over with..” Sloth said while sighing. Komori flew at the sins, and sent thousands of strikes at them in seconds. Gluttony vanished, and appeared behind Komori, but Komori sensed the move, and quickly reacted by blocking his attack, and kicking him away. Komori turned around and noticed Sloth sending at attack at her. She quickly did a flip over the attack, and front-flipped behind Sloth. She placed her palm on Sloth’s back and sent him flying with a quick blast to the back. Quickly, Komori pulled out her weapon, and stabbed Sloth, making quick work of this fight. Sloth was floating through space now, and Gluttony could not fight on his own. He looked at the Goddess, and flew away. A sudden roar echoed through the space, something was close by, something big. Komori decided not to chase him, and looked at Aki, who also seemed to have stopped fighting. Aki and Komori realized now, that the Seven Sins were powerless without Gehenna, and that roar provoked them to back off. They laughed, and returned to the castle.
"That was quick.." Shinda said.
"They forgot who they were messing with." Envy said. Suddenly, the Goddess stopped moving and turned pale.
"Whats the matter, Goddess?" Shinda asked. The Goddess had tears coming down her face, as she finally realized why she had all this power back in her. Suddenly, the Goddess flew up into the air, glowing. Everybody looked away from the blinding lights. When the light faded away, Komori was back on the ground. Everybody turned back to Komori, who had bright white hair.
"L-Lucy..." Komori said. She looked up into the sky, and cried harder. She screamed, letting it echo through space. The singing stopped. The Goddess fell to her knees. "Lucy.... why..." she repeated.
"Lucy? What do you mean Goddess?" Shinda asked. Komori looked up at him, and stood up. "Wh-whos Lucy...?" Shinda asked. Komori wiped her tears angrily.
"Nobody. Forget it..." Komori replied. Shinda stood in confusion. Everybody looked at Komori, who was walking off to her room. Once she was gone, everyone looked at Shinda.
"She hasn't transformed into her fullest form like that in a long time." Shinda said.
"Could it be, do you think, that maybe she had finally regained her strengths?" Tsuri asked.
"I think that somethings bugging her, but we don't have time for that right now" Shinda said. Everybody nodded, and looked out to space. Aki, on the other hand, went after Komori.
"What's the matter, Komori?" Aki asked.
"Do you remember Lucy Koibito, Aki?" Komori asked.
"Of course I do, she saved my daughter after all." Aki said.
"Then why can't anybody else remember her do you think?" Komori asked.
"..No.. You don't think she.." Aki said.
"She did. I feel it, the world was singing about her just now." Komori said. Just before Aki could say anything, a girl appeared. She had red hair, and was wearing an outfit similar to that of Eve's style.
"The Lost Soul is getting stronger, and you're here worrying about some girl?" the girl asked.
"Who are you?" Komori asked.
"Shi Kuro, Shinigami at your service, Goddess." the girl replied. Both Aki and Komori's eyes were wide open, they looked at each other, until Shinda came running in with Tsuri.
"What the hells going on here?" Shinda asked. He looked at Shi, and then at Aki and Komori.
"Who may you be, young lady?" Tsuri asked. Everybody looked at her now, waiting for a reply.
Chapter 10 - Crystalline Tales
"Nobody knows what an Angel's Destiny is until the angel starts it. I'm not responsible for the angels once they begin their destinies." Komori replied.
"I see.. so they're tossed away to be forgotten forever? How cruel of you, Goddess." Shi assumed.
"The Angel Destiny is a lot less brutal than the Shadow Lord trials, don't be mistaken. Although it is true that for the most part, they are deserted, it is their jobs to complete their destiny whatever it might be so they can become purified warriors of the heavens." Komori explained.
"You know as much as I do, Lucy is no normal girl." Shi said. Shinda looked at Komori in confusion.
"Lucy, Lucy Koibito? What do you mean shes not a normal girl?" Shinda asked. Shi smirked and sat on Komori's desk.
"I see, keeping the angelic lives of well-known friends away from the eyes of a demon huh? I bet Shinda here didn't even know his wife was an angel up until now." Shi said. Everybody looked around in confusion.
"Komori, is this true? Lucy is an angel?" Shinda asked. Komori nodded.
"Lucy Koibito is probably the strongest angel behind Aki herself. Isn't that right Aki?" Komori asked.
"Lucy Koibito, she has more powers than even I do, but she is no fighter. Lucy happens to control what goes on and about in the Dream Realm, where one of your good friends happen to be seated." Aki explained.
"Anshu? Komori you let Anshu into Lucy's head...?" Shinda asked.
"Anshu was banished from the Shadow Lords, you know that much. He was your friend after all." Komori replied. "Anshu does not sit in Lucy's head, but rather in the realm she created. This realm which just so happens to be inhabited by this young lady over here." Komori explained.
"Pleasure still being mine, King Shinda Kage." Shi replied.
"Just Shinda. There's no purpose in that title, not anymore." Shinda explained.
"I understand what you may be feeling, now that you are the only full demon left of your race." Shi replied. "However, as much as it may seem like the end, you know there must be some demons left. You cannot abandon who you really are." Shi explained.
"You may be right, Shinigami. Unfortunately as of right now, not even Eve can be considered a demon." Shinda replied.
"She is better than that, she's basically a one winged angel." Shi explained.
"A mixture of a demon and an angel should not even be possible, how did you manage that?" Tsuri asked. Aki and Shinda looked at Komori.
"What? Do you honestly think I did anything to cause Eve to be part angel? That's not possible in the first place and you know it." Komori replied. Shinda turned to Aki after Komori finished.
"Shinda, do you really think I would do that to our daughter?" Aki asked.
"You and I both know you did it, Aki." Shinda replied.
"For what cause, may I ask?" Shi asked.
"The Gehenna family tree was left with two children behind Shinda. Azazel and Eve." Aki explained. "As it may have seemed Azazel was the next one for the throne, there was not a chance in this god forsaken world that he would make it. Not because he would have fallen before hand, but simply because Eve was much stronger since the beginning. As you can tell by their recent battle, it was only certain that even without her angelic form, Eve would have won that battle. She did not even have to use her weapon. She is stronger without it." Aki continued explaining.
"Then, you stopped Eve from being the next leader of Gehenna?" Shi assumed.
"Eve is a smart and strong young girl, but going behind the throne for a billion demons is too much. Shinda knows that much, those foul creatures, they barely gave Lucifer a break. Look at Azazel, he was so consumed by their wrath that he went against his own family because he felt betrayed. In the end, without any demon to command hell, Gehenna fell apart." Aki replied.
"Nonsense." A voice replied from behind. Everybody quickly turned around to see Judas leaning on the door.
"Who the hell?" Tsuri and Shinda said simultaneously.
"Judas..." Shi said.
"Oui Oui, good to see you again, Shinigami." Judas replied, standing up straight and entering the room with a blade in his hand.
"No Judas, not here, this is sacred ground." Komori said.
"Ah I sincerely apologize my lady, I no longer fall under your control." Judas replied, pulling up his sleeve to show everybody a pentagram on his lower wrist.
"What?! You signed a deal with the one thing you swore to kill!?" Shi asked, running up and trying to slap Judas, who grabbed her wrist and threw her at the desk. Aki ran over to help her up.
"Judas, leave, this instant." Komori suggested.
"Judas, how did you get that deal signed, if there are no demons left to sell your soul to?" Shinda asked curiously.
"Ah, my dear Shinda Kage. There is but one demon left in this world besides yourself." Judas replied.
"Azazel... you sold your soul to my son?" Shinda asked.
"Oui, and let me tell you, it feels dark. As much as I did not want to do it, I had no choice you see." Judas replied. "If I wanted to hunt down Eve Kage, first I had to become exactly what she is. Fight fire with fire." Judas explained. Everybody looked at each other with a small smirk. Judas stood around confused.
"She is more than just a demon, Judas." Komori replied.
"What do you mean?" Judas asked.
"Seems my son tricked you good Judas." Shinda said. "My daughter is now half of your greatest weakness as a demon." Shinda explained.
"An angel? Eve Kage is an angel of darkness?" Judas asked.
"That's right Judas, and there's nothing you can do about it." Shi said. Judas walked into the room slowly, and looked down. Moments later, he picked his head up and jumped at Shinda.
"Hmh!?" Shinda mumbled, jumping back. Suddenly a loud smash is heard, and the room is covered with dust and smoke. Everybody was coughing, and once the dust and smoke was gone, so were Judas and Shinda. Komori quickly created a portal, already knowing where Judas had taken Shinda. Everybody jumped in and appeared seconds later in a large fairly dark forest.
"Uh..." Wrath said.
"What, were you expecting the Eiffel Tower?" Tsuri asked. Wrath rolled her eyes and looked around.
"There." Tsuri pointed. Everybody looked in that direction but saw nothing.
"Uhm... Tsuri?" Wrath asked.
"He has forest vision, Wrath. Give it a moment." Komori explained. Suddenly, a strong wind goes passed everyone, and Judas along with Shinda come flying by. Shinda and Judas were in the midst of battle. Judas was firing away with his crossbow, and Shinda was avoiding all the lasers, trying to get closer to him. Finally, Judas' crossbow and Shinda's katana collide.
"You dare fight your king, Judas?" Shinda asked.
"Ah, but there is one thing you failed to see, Shinda. You did not claim your seat in the throne.." Judas replied. Shinda's eyes widened, and Judas pushed him off. Moments later, Azazel appeared with pure grey skin and pure red eyes.
"The demons are under my control now, father." Azazel said.
"Azazel! What are you doing?!" Aki asked.
"Justice, mother." Azazel replied, spawning his new demon scythe. Judas grinned and charged his crossbow, backing away. Azazel flew at Shinda and began attacking him. Shinda blocked all attacks, and smacked Azazel away. He quickly grabbed Azazel by his robes and tossed him into the ground.
"I didn't want to do this Azazel.." Shinda said, looking at Azazel. Suddenly, Azazel kicked Shinda up into the air and laughed psychotically.
"I want to become the darkness that envelops you, if I were to forget the world of reason, a dove cannot be a crow, but it loves the darkness." Azazel says.
"Look what Gehenna has done to you son, you've gone mad!" Shinda replied, flying down to Azazel.
"You're not the boss of me, I'm the boss of you!" Azazel replied. Shinda prepared his attack, but before he could attack Azazel, Judas' laser interfered with the attack. Judas laughed in the shadows, charging his crossbow again. Shinda quickly landed on the ground and ran at Azazel. "Show me no mercy, father." Azazel said preparing his scythe. Once Shinda got close enough, Azazel swung his scythe, so Shinda dropped down and slid under the blade. Shinda then saw the chance to grab Azazel's scythe, so he did. Shinda threw the scythe to the side and looked at Azazel. "I see... the throne, truly does not belong to me." Azazel says. "Fine then." he continued. "If I cannot escape your arms, we'll go to the abyss." he finished. Shinda stood confused, and before he could get to understanding what Azazel meant, he felt a sharp pain going through his stomach. Shinda looked down, and saw a black dagger going through him that Azazel had just used. Everybody looked in shock, and Azazel was chuckling devilishly.
"And so another king has fallen!" Judas said laughing and walking to Azazel. "Well done, your highness." Judas said. Azazel nodded and looked at Shinda, who fell to his knees.
"That's right, bow down to your new king." Azazel said, grinning.
"Hey, fuck face." a familiar voice echoed from behind. Azazel turned around only got get punched in the face by Eve. She was no longer in her angel form, she had her original black hair, and was wearing a black ninja-like suit. The punch was rather strong, as it sent Azazel flying into a tree. Judas tried to act quickly, but Eve roundhouse kicked him and pulled the dagger out of Shinda. Eve quickly helped Shinda up and put an herb into the wound. "You'll be fine, dad." Eve said, letting him go and walking to Azazel.
"Y-you..." Azazel mummered. "You always ruin everything!" Azazel screamed at Eve.
"I am not going to be scared anymore, Azazel." Eve replied.
"Gh! How can something so enticing have such... awful side effects!?" Azazel asked. Eve smiled and got in a fighting position. "Fine then, I'll end you once and for all." Azazel said. He ran at Eve, and swung his scythe at her. Eve jumped up, and drop kicked Azazel, sending him onto the ground. Azazel got up quickly, and looked at Eve angrily. "How are you beating me, without a weapon!?" Azazel asked.
"I left behind all that I used to, so that you would stay with me." Eve replied giving Azazel a quick smirk. Azazel ran at Eve and swung his scythe again. Eve back-flipped away from the attack, and spun around. Once she landed, she poked Azazel in the back. Azazel turned around and had the air punched out of him. Azazel only had a second to grab hold of his stomach before Eve side kicked him, sending him flying through several trees. A laser came flying towards Eve, but just caught it with her palm, and sent it towards Judas. Everybody was watching the fight, accompanying Shinda who had still been weakened by the blade. Judas and Azazel got up and walked up to Eve. "Now that's a bit unfair boys." Eve said.
"Deal with it scum." Judas replied spitting blood out of his mouth. Eve stretched and got into a fighting position. Judas pulled out a dagger and tried to attack Eve, but she kicked it out of his hand and punched him in the chin, sending him into the air. While Judas was trying to recover in the air, Azazel did his attack. He prepared an attack with his scythe but Eve kicked it up into the air, and quickly tripped Azazel with her foot. Eve jumped off Azazel's shoulder to catch the scythe, and spun up towards Judas. She stopped right under him and came close to his face.
"Tell those Shadow Lords to learn their place next time, and.. do me a favor Judas." Eve said.
"Wh-what..." Judas asked. Eve looked at him for a moment.
"Go to hell." Eve said slicing Judas in half with Azazel's scythe. Eve caught Judas' crossbow, and tossed it in the air, quickly destroying it with the scythe. The crossbow exploded instantly. Eve flew down to Azazel and looked at him. "You and I both know this wont end well." Eve said.
"Then end me already! Why do you play with your prey?" Azazel asked.
"I am much stronger than you'll ever give me credit for I won't let you belittle me, you can't hurt me, I am strong, I am fearless, I survived, I'm proud of myself, I love myself, I'm happy, I don't need you, I'm unstoppable, I am brave, I'm a good person, Never again, I did this for me." Eve replied, breaking Azazel's scythe. "All of the things we were together are just fragments now, Azazel." Eve said, patting Azazel on the head and turning around.
"Wh- you're just going to let me go?" Azazel asked. Eve turned half way around.
"You're powerless now Azzy, enjoy the human life." Eve replied.
"What do you mean?! I'm mortal!?" Azazel asked.
"The moment I knocked the wind out of you, I possible might have accidentally punched the demon out of you too." Eve replied.
"You bitch!" Azazel said, getting up and punching Eve in the shoulder.
"You're weak right now Azzy, get some rest." Eve said, walking away. Azazel fell to the ground in tears. Azazel looked at Eve and calmed down, understanding that all this time all she wanted to do for him was save him from a life that was not fair.
"And you've become... everything that I need, for my sanity.." Azazel said. Eve walked up to the group and looked at them. The group had extremely shocked faces on them, looking at Eve who just took on two powerful warriors.
"E-Eve... was that the angel talking?" Aki asked. Eve shook her head.
"I've changed, for the better. I learned what I am meant to be, Iblis even helped me out realizing it." Eve replied.
"That's amazing Eve.. you've literally gained so much power in so little time." Shinda said.
"Right, but there's one thing I'm still not understanding." Eve said.
"What's that?" Aki asked.
"I went to visit Lucy, but she wasn't home. Matter of fact, not even her parents know where she is.. she wouldn't just run away like that... where would she have run off to?" Eve asked. Komori and Aki looked at each other and looked down. Everybody else looked at Eve with sad expressions on their faces.

Chapter 11 - Upon The Burning Stars
"What? Why? What do you know?" Eve asked.
"Lucy is an angel, like you." Komori replied.
"What!? No way! That's awesome!" Eve said.
"However, unlike you, she is a full angel." Komori explained.
"So...?" Eve wondered.
"So, angels have a certain amount of time until they're sent to complete their Angel Destinies, which can take years to complete." Komori explained.
"Y-you mean... I won't see Lucy anymore...?" Eve asked.
"Not for a long time, no." Komori replied. Eve was definitely dissapointed, she sat down and looked up at the crimson sky of this forest.
"Lets get out of here..." Eve said, standing back up and walking to Komori's portal. Everybody watched Eve walk through, and followed except for Aki and Azazel, who stayed to talk.
"You sure you'll be alright Aki?" Komori asked before entering the portal.
"Eve took his powers from him, he won't do me any harm." Aki replied smiling.
"Take care then dear." Komori said closing the portal as she went through.
"What do you want?" Azazel asked in an irritated manor.
"You've caused us all some troubles Azzy." Aki replied in a calm tone.
"So what? I was clearly punished for it and I don't need to hear the talk." Azazel replied.
"You may be human now, but it is clear that your heart is full of sin." Aki said.
"I lost, is that not enough for you guys?" Azazel asked.
"Losing doesn't fix half of what you did today. You claimed the throne of hell, stabbed your father, and fought Eve yet again. You should be ashamed of yourself." Aki replied.
"I have no reason to be here now. I'm just a simple human who has to live life on Earth with those idiots out there." Azazel explained.
"Azazel, when was being human ever a ba-" Aki was about to ask until she heard something in the forest. She quickly created her orb and looked around. Azazel got up and looked at Aki.
"What?" Azazel asked.
"Nothing nothing." Aki said, still looking around. Finally Aki spotted something move again, and used her orb to grab it and pull it over. When Aki brought it over, she saw that it was a girl. She let her down, and walked up to her.
"P-please! I mean no harm!" the girl said, hugging her legs. Just before Aki said anything, she noticed that the girl was no normal girl. She had blonde hair, and two large cat-like ears.
"What is that thing?" Azazel asked.
"It's a Neko... but... how..?" Aki wondered.
"What do you mean?" Azazel asked.
"Nekos have been extinct for years..." Aki replied. She went up to the girl and showed her hand, wanting to help her up. The girl looked at the hand and then at Aki. She had bright red eyes, and tears coming down her face. Aki smiled, and nodded at the girl. The girl was confused, but accepted the help.
"Th-thank you ma'am..." the girl said shyly.
"Don't mention it.... uhm..." Aki said trying to figure out her name.
"Mimi. Mimi Nekozu." the girl replied.
"And you may call me Aki." Aki replied.
"Hold on mom, how do we know shes the real deal if they're supposed to be extinct." Azazel asked.
"Truth is, we don't know, but the Neko race have traveled before their planet was destroyed." Aki explained. "Mimi, how old are you?" Aki asked.
"Oh, I'm 18 miss Aki." Mimi replied.
"18 huh? You must be with family then?" Aki wondered.
"Not quite..." Mimi replied. Aki and Azazel looked confused. "You see, my family was killed when I was young, but they trained me enough where I could live on my own. It was hard, being alone for the first time. I was bad at it for the most part, but a nice girl decided to help me out." Mimi explained.
"This girl, is she still around?" Aki asked. Mimi nodded.
"Ms. Otoshita is resting right now." Mimi replied.
"May we come see her?" Aki asked.
"Of course." Mimi answered. Aki and Azazel followed Mimi through the forest until they reached the town that Shinda and Eve lived in.
"M-Mimi... isn't it a bit unsafe to go around town with those ears?" Aki asked, as Mimi put her hood on. "Alright, but what about the tail?" Aki asked.
"My tail seems to catch no attention, but I just do this!" Mimi says, putting her tail into the back of her hoodie.
"Clever ones, these Nekos." Azazel says. Aki nods in agreement, and looks at Mimi, who had stopped at a house.
"This is it!" Mimi says. "Please, when you enter do not bother Mrs. Otoshita, she is very ill." Mimi requests. Aki and Azazel nod, so Mimi lets them in. Once they entered the house, they noticed that it had been very cold and dusty.
"Mimi.. how long has Mrs. Otoshita been ill...?" Aki asked.
"Four months, ma'am. Mrs. Otoshita says it's a simple virus she can fight." Mimi says. Aki looks at Azazel and then at Mimi.
"Mimi, bring me to Mrs. Otoshita, please." Aki requests.
"I'm sorry Miss Aki, Mrs. Otoshi-" Mimi tried explaining again until Aki stopped her.
"No, Mrs. Otoshita is in grave danger." Aki says. Mimi looks at Aki in fear and quickly walks to Mrs. Otoshita's room. Once Aki and Mimi enter, they need that Mrs. Otoshita is in bed coughing loudly. Her eyes were all black, and she had very bad bags under her eyes. Aki runs over and touches the girl on her forehead. "Mrs. Otoshita...? She's such a young girl.." Aki says, observing the girl. She had long black hair, and a pink dress on.
"Mrs. Otoshita is only 19 years old." Mimi replies.
"Eve's age... what is her first name?" Aki asks.
"Kitsune, miss." Mimi replies.
"Kitsune Otoshita. What is wrong with you?" Aki asks, trying to heal her. Moments later, a large scream comes out of Kitsune's mouth, and a shadow kicks Aki away. The shadow emerges into a human shape and looks at Aki.
"Stay away from her..." the shadow says silently, returning into Kitsune's body.
"What the!?" Azazel says walking into the room.
"Azazel! Step away! This is no virus!" Aki says.
"Mother that's..." Azazel says in shock.
"W-what?! Whats wrong with Mrs. Otoshita!?" Mimi asks.
"Vanix... the Shadow 'God' per-say" Azazel replies.
"Azazel, not now, we've got a demon to remove." Aki says pulling out an exorcism book. "Foul demon, take your leave..." Aki begins. Suddenly, a shadow emerges from Kitsune once again, and flies at Aki, kicking her down.
"Mrs. Aki!" Mimi says running over.
"Mimi, no!" Aki screams. Mimi runs over to Aki, and the shadow grabs Mimi instantly. The shadow comes out of it's misty transparent form, and appears a boy with black hair, and with a gas-mask like mask on. He was wearing a black hood, with the hood on his head.
"Why do you bastards never listen...?" the boy says with an emotionless voice. Nobody could say anything, they were in shock and fear. Mimi was being choked, but Aki and Azazel could not move. The house was taken over entirely by shadows. The boy pulled out his other hand from his hoodie pocket, and forced his fingers into Mimi's stomach by turning them into shadows. Mimi began to scream as the boy got is entire arm to reach her heart.
"Don't, Vanix don't!" Aki begged in tears. The boy ignored Aki entirely, and touched Mimi's heart with his shadow arm. Seconds later, Mimi fell to the ground completely pale, with her eyes grey. Vanix turned his arm back to normal and walked up to Azazel. "Vanix!! No!" Aki begged. Before Vanix could get to Azazel, a window had been broken in the room. Vanix turned to the window and looked at it. It was a girl with brown hair and brown eyes. "L-Lucy..." Aki said in shock.
"Vanix.." Lucy said, point at him. "Your time is up." Lucy said to him. Vanix stood still and stared at Lucy.
"Don't waste my time angel, I've got work to do." Vanix says to Lucy.
"You destroyed the Spirit World, didn't you?" Lucy asked angrily.
"Maybe.. I don't remember anymore.." Vanix replied.
"You're cruel." Lucy said.
"Whatever, just get out of my face will you?" Vanix asked. Lucy pulled out a book and stared at him. Vanix sighed. "Fine, I guess killing another angel won't be too much of a drag..." he said creating black fire on his hands. Lucy created an orb of light and sent it at Vanix, who dodged it and sent a black shadow ball at Lucy. She jumped aside and sent another light orb at him. He jumped over it and tried to kick Lucy, but she jumped to the side and looked at him. He quickly created a shadow katana and lunged at Lucy. She had no choice but to create a light shield, which Vanix quickly broke through, forcing Lucy onto the ground. Vanix walked up to Lucy and put his hand on her stomach. "You were no issue..." Vanix said.
"No!" Aki screamed, breaking out of the shadow. Aki ran and kicked Vanix, but he used a shadow wall to stop it, sending Aki back. She quickly landed on the wall and sent a light spear through the shadow wall to break it. Vanix got up and looked at Aki.
"Why do you angels have to get in my way all the time...?" Vanix asked. "Let a guy do what he needs to do." Vanix said, walking towards Aki. Vanix lunged at Aki now, so Aki created a light katana to block. "I see.. Aki, the angel queen huh?" Vanix said.
"How do you know that?" Aki asked.
"Your fighting stance is one of the fancy bullshit ones you learn in heaven, and your weapons are interchangeable." Vanix replied. "Hows Shinda been doing, you know, since he killed his own father." Vanix asked. Aki looked at Vanix and pushed him back. Aki started attacking Vanix with her Zanbato, but it did nothing to Vanix's katana. Vanix pushed Aki back and spun around to create a stronger blow. Before Vanix could hit Aki, however, Lucy came in the way and blocked with another light shield. This time it was stronger, pushing Vanix back. Vanix took on look at Lucy and Aki, who had been ready to take him on. "Fine... keep the girl.." Vanix said, pointing at Kitsune with his two fingers. Shadows returned into his fingers and once they stopped, Vanix turned around and walked towards the window. "Don't count on finding me again." Vanix said. Lucy ran at him with a light orb and charged it up. Once it was fully charged Lucy jumped at Vanix, but before she could reach him, he was gone. Lucy released the orb, sending it at the wall. The orb shattered, and they looked around.
"Damnit!" Lucy said. Seconds later, Kitsune got up slowly.
"Wh-what...?" Kitsune asked looking at Mimi. "N-no..." Kitsune said, looking at Aki and Lucy. "You bastards let him kill my best friend!" Kitsune said, followed by heavy coughs and struggle to breathe. Aki ran to Kitsune and place a ball of light onto her heart.
"Calm down Kitsune, you're weak from being almost eaten by shadows." Aki said.
"Where is he...?" Kitsune asked, laying back onto the bed.
"We don't know" Lucy replied.
"He's more than any demon" Kitsune said.
"You know about demons?" Aki asked.
"I'm Kitsune Otoshita, I hunt the supernatural for a living." Kitsune replied.
"Huh?.. Interesting." Aki said.
"I mean, I'm none of those creatures really. I've been hunting that guy's little minions for a long time, guess he finally came to pay his thanks." Kitsune explained.
"The shadows? You hunted his shadows?" Aki asked.
"Yeah, they've been a corruption on Earth for decades." Kitsune said, looking at Lucy. "Hey.. Lucy Koibito.. what are you doing here?" Kitsune asked.
"She's an angel, Kitsune." Aki replied.
"An angel huh?" Kitsune asked. "That explains a lot I guess." Kitsune said.
"Lucy, are you alright?" Aki asked.
"I'm alright." Lucy replied.
"Kitsune, we're taking you with us, understood?" Aki said.
"Where..?" Kitsune asked.
"Just trust me." Aki said, picking Kitsune up. Aki created a portal to Komori's castle, and went through it; Lucy followed. On the other side, everybody stood up seeing the return of Aki.
"Mom!" Eve said, seeing the girl she was holding. Tsuri ran over to help Aki with the girl.
"What happened?" Tsuri asked.
"Vanix." Aki replied, handing Kitsune over to him. Tsuri quickly took Kitsune to the bedroom, and Kikiro ran after him with medical items. Eve looked at Aki, and then noticed Lucy behind her.
"Lucy!!!" Eve screamed running to her. Lucy looked at Eve, and gets tackled down. Eve and Lucy laughed rolling around the floor. "Where have you been you jerk!?" Eve asked pushing Lucy's face to the floor.
"Trainingggg" Lucy said. Eve laughed and helped Lucy up. Lucy smiled and looked at Shinda, who was sitting holding his stomach. "Mr. Kage, are you alright?" Lucy asked.
"Oh you know, stabbed by my son, no biggie." Shinda replied.
"Speaking of which... where did Azazel go?" Lucy asked. Aki's eyes widened and she looked around.
"Azazel!" Aki screamed recreating at portal, about to run through it. Before she could, however, Komori grabbed her shoulder. Aki looked at Komori.
"Leave him be, there's no point right now." Komori explained. Aki nodded and closed the portal.
"Did you guys say Vanix?" Shinda asked.
"That's right, he was using Kitsune's body for something, along with completely covering her home in shadows." Aki replied.
"Who's Vanix?" Shi asked.
"He's the 'God' of shadows, so to speak." Komori replied.
"Huh, how strong can the guy be to be considered a god?" Shi asked.
"He seems stronger than Lucifer ever was." Aki replied.
"Shadows are everywhere, it's not question Vanix is strong." Shinda explained. Tsuri walks back into the room.
"Vanix is the one who corrupted my forest, he must be trying to spread shadows." Tsuri explained.
"Vanix is no laughing matter, Satan was just baby talk." Komori said.
"Hey, speaking of babies, where are Wrath and Envy?" Shi asked.
"I was about to ask the same thing." Tsuri said.
"Nobody knows where they have gone?" Aki asked. Everybody shook their heads and looked around the room. Eve ran to the other rooms, and came back quickly.
"They're gone..." Eve said. Everybody looked at each other.
"Why would they just leave like that?" Shi asked.
"Hey look!" Eve said pointing out the window. Everybody looked around the window, and noticed a burning star. "What does that mean?" Eve asked. Aki turned pale.
"It means... someone of high importance just died..." Komori explained, turning to Aki. "Who else was with you three?" Komori asked. Lucy and Aki looked at each other, and then at Komori. Suddenly, silence.
Shinda: Clearly we have a problem here.
Tsuri: With Vanix around it's clear that we won't be having an easy time.
Komori: I'm not sure what to do about this, honestly.
Shi: Guys, I'm hungry.
Komori: SHUT YOUR TRAP YOU STUPID GIT.
Shinda: Komori that's not nice.
Komori: I'm sorry, I'm just... very emotional right now.
Shi: Next time on Ji-
Komori: WHAT DID I JUST SAY YOU PILE OF TRASH!?
Shinda: KOMORI.
Komori: UNRAVEL ME SHINDA.
Tsuri: Oh dearest me.

Shinda: EVE QUICK END THE PREVIEW.

Anicca: "Everything is limited to a certain duration and, consequently, liable to disappear."
"The end of the universe is upon us." Komori explained. "This is no time to sit around and pity each other, it is the time of war." Komori added.
"What's our job in this all?" Tsuri asked.
"Everybody knows how this is going down, correct?" Komori asked.
"N-not really.." Lucy replied.
"The Lost Sin is somewhere out there in the universe, and he's created some massive.. thing and it's going to destroy planet after planet if we don't kill the Lost Sin right now." Shinda explained.
"Right, and how do you expect us to find this thing? The universe isn't just a few minutes apart you know. Searching could take years!" Tsuri explained.
"We don't have years, we have days." Komori added.
"Days? How many 'days'?" Eve asked.
"Three." Shinda said.
"Th-three days!?" Tsuri asked.
"Guys theres no time to argue and question things now, we don't have all the time in the world!" Komori said.
"Alright Komori, you're the Goddess, what do you want us to do?" Shinda asked.
"The Lost Sin leeches off of other planet's life supply, destroys them and becomes stronger." Komori explained.
"Right, so he must be hiding in a planet then?" Eve asked.
"Correct, and I've recently received complaints from a few planets about having issues with their flora and life supplies." Komori explained.
"So then lets go!" Shi shouted.
"Not so fast Shinigami, we need to plan this out accordingly." Shinda replied.
"Thank you Shinda. Now, we've got four planets and seven of us." Komori added.
"Eve and Aki will go to planet Kazuma, while Komori and I go to planet Gatari. Tsuri and Shi, you will go to planet Manta, leaving Lucy to planet Pronta." Shinda explained.
"Wh-what?" Lucy replied.
"Don't worry Lucy, Pronta is a peaceful planet and you're strong enough to escape if you spot him. Other than that, alarm Aki telepathically and she'll quickly get to your location." Komori explained. Lucy nodded and everybody stood up.
"Good luck everybody, and remember, send information over to either Komori or Aki the moment you spot anything strange." Shinda explained. Everybody nodded and stepped into their portal.
*Point Of View Changes Will Occur Several Times From This Point Forward*
PoV: Aki and Eve
As they entered Planet Kazuma, they noticed it had already been dead. Aki looked at Eve and then at the terrain.
"It seems this planet had been dead for much longer than Komori anticipated." Aki said.
"Yeah, but take a look at that." Eve said pointing at a shrine. Aki and Eve walked over to the shrine and noticed it was a shrine of Komori.
"Lucy did a fantastic job spreading the love of Komori." Aki said.
"Maybe, but it ended poorly for the planet anyhow." Eve added. Suddenly, a cough echoed from behind. Eve quickly turned around and got in a fighting stance. Soon after, Aki and Eve noticed a man struggling to get out of a destroyed building, so they ran to assist the man. Once they got him out, they decided to ask him a couple of questions.
"Thank you for the help, I thought for sure I was a goner." the man said.
"It's no problem, but can you tell us what happened here?" Eve asked.
"The planet just crumbled. It was a normal day, everything beautiful and then out of nowhere everything went to chaos. There can't be any explanation behind it, because they core of the planet had been healthy the entire time." the man explained.
"Are you sure there was nothing going on? No new races around or anything?" Aki asked.
"Well, there was this one strange new man in town.." the man said.
"Do you have a name? Maybe how he looked?" Eve asked.
"Mmm.. yes, he had short black hair, red eyes kind of like these." the man said, changing his eye color to a bright red and grinning. Eve jumped back but Aki was not so lucky. The man grabbed Aki and threw her at the shrine.
"Demons!?" Eve asked.
"Ah come now Ms. Kage, not all of us went out in the explosion that you caused." the demon replied.
"You're all supposed to be powerless!" Eve said.
"I suppose, I was just lucky then?" the demon said.
"Who are you?" Eve asked.
"Just a friend of a friend." the demon replied grinning again. Eve took another look at the demon's eyes and realized who it could have been.
"What? Jinn.. they locked you up years ago!" Eve assumed.
"Right right, thanks for that by the way. The pit was one hell of a fun fucking time." Jinn replied. "Anyway..." Jinn continued, extending his arm all the way to Eve without having to move. "Time to die, Kage." Jinn finished, pulling Eve over to him and stabbing her in the stomach. Eve fell to the ground, and held onto the knife that was stuck in her stomach. She spit out blood and looked at Jinn. "Sorry lass, it's not that easy nowa days." Jinn said, kicking Eve in the face. Jinn laughed and kneeled down by Eve, who kept coughing. Jinn covered Eve's mouth and looked at her. "You're weak. How did you manage to kill Lucifer? Hmm?" Jinn asked.
"S-Screw you..." Eve struggled saying. Jinn smacked Eve across the face.
"You're not royalty anymore bitch, watch who you're talking to." Jinn said.
"How about you leave her alone?" a voice echoed from behind. Jinn stood up and looked behind him. Iblis was standing on the destroyed shrine.
"And, you are?" Jinn asked.
"Just a friend of a friend." Iblis said, jumping down and sending Jinn away using the air.
"A friend of a friend huh? And where did you learn to do that?" Jinn asked.
"Oh you know, a friend." Iblis said, punching Jinn in the jaw. Jinn stood in place, and fixed his jaw.
"You bastard, I'll make sure to see Eve Kage suffer." Jinn said. Iblis smirked, putting his scarf over his mouth.
"How about I kick your ass here and now?" Iblis asked. Jinn's smile went away and he pulled out two knives.
"Come on then." Jinn replied. Iblis stood in place and waited for Jinn to attack. Jinn ran at Iblis, and it only took Iblis one step to dodge the attack. Iblis quickly grabbed Jinn by the arm and flipped him over with a single twist. Jinn landed on the ground, but quickly recovered and kicked Iblis in the shoulder. Iblis was sent into the air, but he flipped once and came flying down. Jinn threw his knives at Iblis, but Iblis took a side step and avoided being hit. Iblis flipped towards Jinn, but Jinn slid away. As Iblis landed, Jinn spun around on the ground and tripped him. Iblis quickly recovered before hitting the ground by flipping over and pushing off the ground with his hands. Jinn jumped up and after Iblis, who attempted to drop kick him. Jinn quickly spun away from Iblis mid-air and threw his knives at Iblis. While Iblis dodges the knives, he also grabbed one, and tossed it at Jinn, who quickly jumped away. The battle was in the air now, as they were falling knives were flying around everywhere. Eve watched as the battle went down, but felt more and more weak. Aki was unconcious in the shrine ruins while everyone else was still on their planet. Iblis bounced towards Jinn and tried to kick him. Unfortunately, Jinn managed to avoid the kick and catch Iblis' foot. Jinn spun around and threw Iblis at the ground, but Iblis landed on the ground normally, leaving a small wind fly around him. Jinn jumped down at Iblis, but Iblis rolled away and punched Jinn in the face. Jinn flew to the ground, and quickly grabbed more knives. Jinn tossed knives at Iblis, but Iblis jumped and flipped away from them. Jinn got back up and tried to spin-kick Iblis to the ground, but Iblis pushed off of Jinn's foot and kicked Jinn in the back with a simple back-kick. Jinn fell to the ground, and struggled to get back up from the kick. Iblis slowly walked over to Jinn, who quickly pushed off the ground and backflipped. Halfway through the backflip he tossed knives at Iblis, and one managed to cut his cheek. Iblis' scarf flew off his face due to also being cut, so Iblis simply took it off and tossed it to the side. He walked towards Jinn, who was still wounded from the back-kick. Jinn ran at Iblis and tried to send a strong punch at Iblis, but Iblis grabbed Jinn's fist and pushed it towards his arm. Jinn fell to the ground as Iblis had Jinn in a bad position.
"Go on.. finish me" Jinn said as his hand was getting closer and closer to his arm. Iblis charged his other palm with a soul strike, which is a small white orb filled with spirit energy. Iblis took one last look at Jinn, and smacked the orb into Jinn's chest, sending him flying. Once Jinn hit the ground, he was pale and obviously dead. Iblis walked off to Eve to see if she's even still breathing.
"Eve, wake up." Iblis said. Eve opened her eyes minimally and looked at Iblis.
"Iblis.. you never seem to get here on time.." Eve said. Iblis smiled and grabbed the knife. "N-no Iblis don't." Eve requested. Iblis didn't listen, he pulled the knife out of Eve's stomach and quickly created another spirit filled orb, but this time it had small lights of green on it. Iblis placed it on Eve's stomach and began to heal her, as Aki limped her way to the two.
*Point Of View Change*
PoV: Tsuri and Shi
"So what do you suppose we're supposed to be looking for here?" Shi asked.
"Something, not normal I guess." Tsuri replied.
"Super, so we don't know what we're looking for." Shi said, as they entered the planet. Once they were in the planet, they noticed it was in great condition. "Okay I don't see the struggling part of the planet just yet." Shi added.
"Just hold on, this isn't normal." Tsuri said.
"What does that mean?" Shi said.
"Look." Tsuri said pointing at the forest, which had smoke surrounding it. Shi and Tsuri ran off to the forest until they reached a strange dark portion.
"What the hell is this?" Shi asked.
"Guess again." a voice echoed.
"Huh?" Tsuri and Shi said, looking around. From the shadows comes a woman, with long light brown hair with flower petals going around it, and blue eyes.
"What? Mori?" Tsuri asked, surprised.
"It's been a while, Tsuri." the woman replied with a smile.
"Who's that?" Shi asked.
"Mori, my... friend." Tsuri explained. Mori nodded, as two white wolves came to both of her sides.
"Tsuri you're not safe here." Mori said.
"What do you mean?" Tsuri asked.
"Demons, demons all over the place." Mori said.
"Mori, that's what I'm here fo-" Tsuri said stopping for a moment. "Wait, did you say demons?" Tsuri asked. Mori nodded.
"But the demons were wiped off the map." Shi said.
"Wrong, the demons in Gehenna were moved over." Mori explained.
"Moved? To where?" Tsuri asked. Mori looked up to the sky and pointed at a large dark planet forming.
"What the!?" Shi asked.
"What is that?" Tsuri asked.
"New Gehenna, a new Satan was found." Mori explained.
"A new Satan!? Who?!" Shi asked.
"I don't have that much information. My wolves had just returned with information" Mori said turning to the wolves. The wolves whispered into Mori's ears and ran off. Mori had a worried look to her, and she looked at Tsuri. "The man's name is Abaddon." Mori said.
"Abaddon...?" Tsuri asked, looking at the newly born planet. "But that's..." Tsuri said, just before a rattling came from the forest. Tsuri looked at the forest and quickly ran to Mori.
"No Tsuri, this isn't safe!" Mori said.
"I'm not letting you get hurt." Tsuri replied. Moments later, two demons appeared from the shadows.
"Back off!" Shi said, pulling out her weapon.
"Mori Okami, you're coming with us." a demon said.
"What do you want with her?!" Tsuri asked angrily.
"All guardians of light must perish." the other demon said. Tsuri looked at Mori.
"Guardian of light?" Tsuri asked.
"Someone has to protect this universe if the Goddess can't." Mori said.
"Komori recruited you?" Tsuri asked.
"Why, do you know her?" Mori asked.
"I've been working with her for a while." Tsuri said.
"Hey, idiots, hand over wolf girl and be on your way." the demon said walking up. Tsuri grabbed the demon by his wrist and punched him in the stomach, then kicked him down.
"Don't you dare touch her." Tsuri said. The other demon stepped up and pulled out a war-hammer.
"You dare harm my brother?" the demon asked swinging his war-hammer. Tsuri, Shi, and Mori jumped up and Shi kicked the demon away.
"You're gonna regret that." the other demon said, jumping at Shi with a war-hammer as well. Shi and the demon began fighting it off, while Tsuri began fighting the other demon. Shi kept swinging at the demon, who was clearly not well trained.
"Tsuri!" Shi said.
"Yeah?!" Tsuri asked dodging the attacks.
"They're low level demons, they aren't trained to fight!" Shi said.
"Got it!" Tsuri said jumping up and instantly knocking the demon out, followed by Shi tripping the other demon and kicking him out cold.
"Lets go!" Mori said turning into a giant wolf. "Hop on!" Mori screamed. Shi looked at Tsuri and shrugged as she climbed up to Mori's back. Tsuri followed and climbed up. "Hold on tight." Mori said, jumping up and speeding through the planet. Once she gained full speed, she jumped up into a portal.
*Point of View Change*
PoV: Shinda and Komori
"This planet is completely fine.." Shinda said.
"Yeah, but it feels so cold.." Komori said.
"You're just genuinely a cold person." Shinda replied.
"Ha-ha, you're hilarious." Komori replied. Shinda looked around until he noticed a strange statue planted by the planet shrine.
"Komori, isn't that your shrine?" Shinda asked.
"Hmm?" Komori wondered, looking at the shrine which has strange dark forces forming out of it. Komori looked at Shinda and then they both ran up to the shrine.
"The hell?" Shinda said.
"Demons?" Komori wondered. Shinda touched the strange entity and then looked up.
"K-Komori..." Shinda said.
"What is it?" Komori asked, as Shinda pointed up at the sky. Komori looked up and noticed a giant dark planet. "No..." Komori said.
"Is that...?" Shinda asked.
"Gehenna, it's being remade... but then... that means..." Komori said in doubt.
"There's a new Satan.. somebody took my place." Shinda said.
"And whoever it is, knows what they're doing." Komori said.
"Goddess Komori!" a scream echoed from the sky. A second later, Lucy appeared in the sky and landed by Shinda and Komori.
"What is it Lucy!? You should be on your planet!" Komori said.
"That's the problem Goddess, the planet you assigned me is no longer there." Lucy said.
"Huh? Damn it.." Komori said.
"I think we're close, Goddess." Lucy said.
"Hmh? Why do you assume that?" Komori asked.
"Because we are..." Lucy said in a silent voice, as her eyes changed into a bright white.
"Lucy..." Komori said. Shinda grabbed Komori and pulled her away.
"Komori it's the Lost Sin!" Shinda screamed jumping into the air, as Lucy sents a giant strike of darkness onto the ground. "Damnit..." Shinda said.
"It has Lucy as a hostage.." Komori said.
"At least we know where it is.." Shinda said, entering the portal and closing it quickly after. Back at the castle, Shinda and Komori met up with the rest of the group.
"We're all here.." Shinda said.
"What about Lucy?" Tsuri asked. Shinda looked down, as did Komori.
"Wh-what about Lucy?" Eve asked.
"The Lost Sin is using her body as a hostage..." Komori said. Eve turned pale and jumped up.
"We need to go help her now!" Eve said, as Iblis pulled her down.
"No Eve, you're still hurt, and the Lost Sin isn't someone to go and fight alone." Iblis said.
"Iblis, good to see you again." Shinda said. Iblis nodded and sat down.
"What do we do!?" Eve asked.
"Abaddon and the Lost Sin must be working together.." Mori said.
"Wait wait wait, who are you?" Shinda asked.
"Tsuri's friend, a guardian of light, and you?" Mori asked.
"Shinda Kage." Shinda replied.
"Ah, the son of Satan huh?" Mori said.
"Guys, back to important matters." Shi said.
"The Lost Sin is in Lucy's body, and the ball isn't far from Earth. We need to do something and we have to do it soon." Komori said. Everybody nodded, and looked at Shinda.
"What?" Shinda asked.
"You need to take on Abaddon, Shinda." Shi said.
"We have to deal with the Sin first. Abaddon isn't going to destroy the universe." Shinda said.
"Who is Abaddon, anyway?" Eve asked.
"I don't know.. he's no demon I ever heard of." Shinda said.
"Right, well Abaddon is another way to say Satan or Lucifer in my book. Maybe grandpa's back?" Eve wondered.
"Impossible." Shinda said.
"Very possible, actually." Komori said.
"How so?" Shinda asked.
"The Lost Sin took your father's soul." Komori explained. "He could have converted Lucifer into a new form, under his control." Komori added.
"We need to focus on Lost Sin, guys." Tsuri said.
"Right.. so what's the plan?" Komori asked.
"You don't have a plan?" Shinda asked.
"I'm not killing the girl." Komori said.
"We don't have a choice.." Shinda said.
"Actually, we do." Eve said.
"No." Shinda said, standing up.
"Dad.. come on." Eve said.
"That book is nothing but trouble Eve." Shinda said.
"The world is ending and you're worried about a few screw ups?" Eve asked.
"I'm worried that book will consume you." Shinda said.
"Will you both shut up and explain?" Shi asked.
"Eve wants to exorcise the Lost Sin out of Lucy." Komori said.
"He's a demon, why can't I?" Eve asked.
"Because it's dangerous." Komori said.
"Guys, it's life or death, we'll die if we don't try anyway!" Eve said.
"I say we take the chance." Shi said. Everybody looked at Eve, and then at Shinda, who looked down and started to think to himself.
Chapter 14 Preview:
Tsuri: This is getting too serious..

Komori: This really is getting a bit bad.

Komori: Somebody shove puffins down her throat.
Shinda: Deal.
Eve: My eyes feel weird.
Tsuri: You must just be tired of getting pulled around.
Shi: Sounds like suicide.
Komori: I hate all of you.
Chapter 14 - Day 2 of 3 "Dukkha"
Dukkha - Everything is unsatisfactory. There is nothing that can be relied upon, there is nothing that can bring true happiness.
"We don't have much time Shinda, it's do or don't now." Komori said. Shinda looked at Eve, and then at everybody else.
"One demon compared to a whole universe, dad." Eve said. Shinda stood up and walked up to Eve.
"Just try to not come back from this fight, and I will make sure to make you regret all this." Shinda said looking at Eve, who nodded and smiled.
"I've been learning for years, I'm experienced enough I would think." Eve said with pride.
"Lets go, before Lucy is completely lost." Tsuri said. Everybody got up and walked over to the portal Komori made. Once everybody entered, Komori stopped Shinda for a moment.
"You sure about this Shin?" Komori asked. Shinda looked at Komori unsurely.
"I dont know... but I don't have a choice, do I?" Shinda answered. Komori nodded and turned around.
"She's strong, Shinda. Don't assume because she's young that she can't manage. She did kill Lucifer after all." Komori reassured.
"Killed and exorcised are two different terms." Shinda said, as Komori entered the portal. Shinda followed inside and ended up on a small chunk of land outside of New Gehenna.
"Wh-what is this?" Eve asked. Komori looked around in confusion.
"My island, the one I used for thinking and silence.." Komori said.
"Why are we here, exactly?" Tsuri asked.
"I.. I dont know, the portal must've redirected us." Komori said, looking back at the portal, where a girl was standing and smiling. Iblis' eyes widened as he saw the girl standing there.
"And you are?" Tsuri asked.
"N-Natsuki..?" Iblis said, walking over to her.
"Iblis, it's been quite some time, hasn't it?" the girl asked.
"What are you doing here?" Iblis asked.
"We're only a day and a few hours away from the end of the universe, why do you think I'm here?" Natsuki answered.
"The entire Spirit Warrior team was broken apart ages ago, why are you still following protocal?" Iblis asked.
"Because a friend of mine was taken hostage by the one causing this all." Natsuki said.
"Lucy? You knew Lucy?" Eve asked.
"Of course, I'm the reason she learned all about her angelic destinies and powers." Natsuki said.
"Then maybe you can help us?" Eve asked.
"No." Natsuki replied.
"What do you mean 'no'?" Eve asked.
"This is not my battle to be reckoning with." Natsuki answered.
"Are you saying the end of the universe isn't your problem?" Eve asked.
"It is, the Lost Sin, however, is not." Natsuki said.
"What does that even mean?" Eve asked.
"It means this is a job for you all, as Iblis and I must handle someone else." Natsuki explained.
"Abaddon?" Iblis asked.
"That's right." Natsuki replied.
"You want to go against Abaddon two versus an entire demon army?" Tsuri asked.
"We're Spirit Warriors, we can take on a planet if we wanted to." Natsuki answered.
"But Abaddon isn't the same as Lucifer." Shinda said.
"Abaddon is still weak, corrupted by Soul Sin or not." Iblis said.
"We'll go out fighting, if we have to." Natsuki said.
"That's the job of a Spirit Warrior." Iblis said.
"No, Iblis, this is suicide." Eve said.
"Eve, this is their job, they're here to save the universe." Komori said.
"Thank you Goddess." Natsuki said.
"Just don't fail, do you understand me?" Komori asked. Natsuki nodded, and entered the portal. Iblis turned to Eve and nodded.
"I'll be back." Iblis said to Eve.
"Promise?" Eve asked, as Iblis looked at her for a moment, and turned around, walking into the portal. The portal closed, and everyone ended up on the planet they were planning on being at, in the first place. Everybody looked at Eve, and then around the planet.
"What's the plan?" Tsuri asked.
"Find Lucy, I guess." Shinda said, looking at Komori.
"She was here when you were attacked, right?" Eve asked, walking up. Her eyes were all black, and she seemed ready to fight.
"Eve, put the demon away." Shi said.
"No, I'm ending this here and now." Eve said.
"Eve, you'll kill Lucy if you do anything besides the exorcism." Aki said.
"I can do it." Eve said. Everybody looked at each other, and then at Eve. Suddenly, a swift wind pushed everybody back slightly. Shinda and Komori looked to the sky, and noticed Lucy, with black angel wings, and black eyes. Her skin was grey, and she had blood dripping from her right hand. Eve jumped up, and pulled out the Necronomicon.
"Eve no! It's not weak enough yet!" Komori said.
"I don't give a fuck!" Eve screamed, soaring faster. Eve kicked the Lost Sin, grabbed it by the wrist, and tossed it at the ground. She quickly created an orb of shadows and threw it at the Lost Sin. A large dark explosion surrounded the area, and left a large crater. Eve landed by the crater and looked at the body, as she took heavy breaths. The body got up, and laughed. Eve stood there confused and shocked, as was everybody else.
"Nice one Kage." the Sin said, cracking Lucy's neck and walking out of the crater towards Eve, who could not move from shock.
"Eve move!" Tsuri said, sending vines at the Sin. The Sin grabbed the vines and pulled Tsuri over, followed by throwing him into the crater. The Sin then used the vines to pierce into Tsuri's chest, finishing him so simply.
"Tsuri!" Shinda said, getting into a fighting stance. The Sin stood in front of Eve, and grabbed her by the neck.
"My turn." the Sin said, smiling. It threw Eve into the ground, picked her up, tossed her into the sky, and high-kicked her in the stomach, followed by grabbed her by the neck, and smashing her into the ground. The Sin walked out of a large cloud of dust, and started walking up to the rest of the group. Shinda was angry, no questioning that. As the Lost Sin got closer and closer to the group, Shinda's eyes turned pure black.
"Shinda, don't." Komori said.
"Shut up." Shinda said. Komori looked at Shinda, and then at the Sin.
"Die you bastard!" Shi screamed, charging at it.
"Shi no!" Komori screamed. Shi started attacking the Sin with her weapon, but the Sin dodged the attacks. Soon after, the Sin grabbed Shi's weapon, and tossed it aside. It grabbed Shi's entire face, and started to crush it. Komori could not watch, she created a ball of light and sent it at the Sin quickly. The Sin dropped Shi, and looked at Komori, who's heart started beating heavily.
"Goddess, goddess, goddess..." the Sin said. "Will you ever learn?" the Sin asked, as it created a replica of Shi's Naginata.
"No..." Shi said, turning to Komori as the Lost Sin stabbed it into Shi's heart. Komori stopped, and turned pale, as she watched the Sin twist the Naginata in Shi's chest.
"How do you kill a Shinigami again..?" the Sin asked. "Oh, that's right, their own weapon." the Sin said smiling. Komori fell to her knees, and Shinda looked at her.
"Komori..?" Shinda asked.
"You bastard..." Komori said, looking down with sweat dripping off her cheeks.
"K-Komori.." Shinda said.
"Shinda, I think we should back away this instant." Aki said. Shinda started backing away, as strange black tendrills started surrounding her.
"No, Komori, don't do this to yourself.." Shinda said.
"You're... ruining my universe.. my beautiful creation..." Komori said, as her eyes turned pure black.
"Goddess, you need to calm down!" Aki said.
"My stars.. my planets.. these beautiful creatures.. you're.. you're ruining it all.." Komori said, as the tendrills began twisting around her.
"Komori, I beg you!" Shinda said.
"I wont let you..." Komori said.
"What is this?" the Sin asked.
"I wont.. let you.. do this!!!!" Komori screamed, as she looked up into space and screamed. Suddenly, the tendrills surrounded Komori and transformed into a strange black cloud. The cloud entered Komori's mouth as she screamed and created a massive wind around everybody. The sky turned black, and the planet started to crack.
"What is this!?" the Sin asked angrily.
"Who opened the seal!?" Shinda asked, struggling to keep his balance. Iblis and Natsuki were flying towards Shinda and Aki quickly.
"It had to be a demon, that's the only possibility!" Aki said.
"Shinda! Don't listen!" Iblis said, but Shinda could not hear because of the loud wind.
"Shinda it's a trap!" Natsuki screamed, also not being heard due to the wind.
"But what demon has that power!?" Shinda asked, as he looked at Aki.
"A strong one.." Aki said with a grin on her face. Her eyes turned black and she turned to Shinda.
"Abaddon..." Shinda said angrily.
"That's right Shin, you've lost everybody now." Aki said.
"Stop, let her go!" Shinda screamed. The Sin started to get irritated, and flew at Shinda and Aki. Natsuki and Iblis flew towards the Sin to try and stop it from reaching them, however the Sin was too fast.
"Hows this for a deal." Abaddon said, snapping his fingers just before the Sin could reach them. Shinda and Aki ended up in a dark room, and Aki started walking up to Shinda.
"What do you want Abaddon!?" Shinda asked.
"Which one do you really want to save more, hmm?" Abaddon asked.
"Wh-what?" Shinda asked.
"Your choice Shin, your precious daughter, the Shinigami, that Druid, or the Goddess of the universe?" Abaddon asked.
"You're lying." Shinda said.
"Come now Shin, why would I lie to the devil himself?" Abaddon asked.
"What do you want in return?" Shinda asked.
"Lets, not just into that just yet. First you should decide who you really want back." Abaddon said, smiling.
"What do you want in return?!" Shinda asked once again.
"What any demon would want, Shinda." Abaddon said.
"How long do I have?" Shinda asked. Abaddon shook his head.
"That's not how it works during the last few days of the universe Shin." Abaddon replied. Shinda looked down, and started to think of all the times he shared with Komori, and then all his friends. Shinda looked at Abaddon, and nodded.
"Fine." Shinda said. Abaddon smiled, and looked at Shinda.
"Which will it be?" Abaddon asked. Shinda looked down and then back at Abaddon.
"Before I go.." Shinda said. Abaddon smiled, knowing he had won a deal with Shinda.
"Yes?" Abaddon asked Shinda in excitement.
"How does it feel, being ressurected by a pile of shit like the Lost Sin?" Shinda asked curiously. Abaddon's smile dissapeared, as he glared at Shinda.
Chapter 14.5 Preview:

Chapter 14.5 - Revival
The sky remained black, spreading rapidly across the universe. Species after species, darkness spread across their planets, and slowly ruined their hopes of surviving. As the prophecy foretold, the world will end in darkness, leaving nothing but demons alive. Eve, Tsuri, and Shi, had fallen to the strength of the Lost Sin, and the Goddess lost her mind, entering a phase of darkness and wrath. Aki, who was standing by Shinda, turned out to be possessed by Abaddon, who Shinda suspected was his father, Lucifer. The planet was falling apart, as the orb of the Lost Sin became visible to everybody on it. Komori was standing in place, as steam flew off of her body, along with black static flying around her entirely. She was looking down on the ground, as everybody else was lying on the ground. It was too much for Komori, to lose all the work she longed to complete. For trillions of years, she worked to perfect everything, and all that work fell in a single day. She could not come to accept it, and lost herself, now belonging to the darkness. The universe was slowly cracking, the Goddess entered a form of destruction, a form she wished would never unleash.
"Goddess Komori, what do you think you're doing?" the Lost Sin asked. Komori did not reply, standing in place still looking at the ground. Komori's haired was black, and her clothing turned into a dark purple.
"Come now Komori.." Aki said, standing next to her. Komori looked at Aki with her black eyes in shock.
"Aki...?" Komori asked. "But... Abaddon..." Komori added. Aki looked down, as tears formed in her eyes. Komori's eyes widened, also forming tears. The Lost Sin looked around, as Tsuri, Eve, and Shi stood back up, as if not at all hurt.
"Abaddon... what do you think you're doing!?" Lost Sin screamed. A man appeared next to the Lost Sin, and stood by him.
"A demon has to agree to a deal, to get a deal." Abaddon said.
"The Kage boy, he is gone?" Lost Sin asked.
"That's right, he is in eternal sleep, back in Gehenna." Abaddon said. Komori stood up straight and looked at everybody, who had come back to life. Her face filled with rage, as she realized what Shinda had done.
"Aki." Komori said.
"Yes, Goddess?" Aki asked.
"I'm sending them both to hell." Komori said. Aki nodded, looking at Komori.
"But Goddess.. I don't understand something." Aki said.
"What is that?" Komori asked.
"How is it that Shinda was able to take a deal with Abaddon, if Shinda is a demon?" Aki asked. Komori thought for a moment, and then her eyes widened, looking at Aki.
"I understand now.." Komori said.
"What?" Aki asked.
"Aki, you were created to originally destroy your destined demon, who was unfortunately Shinda at the time." Komori said.
"Right, so what does that have to do with anything?" Aki asked.
"Maybe the reason you couldn't kill him, is because Shinda isn't an actual demon." Komori said.
"What? Then what about Eve?" Aki asked.
"I created Eve as Shinda requested, with his genes. However, there is a race similar to that of a demon." Komori said.
"You dont think..." Aki said.
"Maybe Shinda was a Fallen Angel all this time, and not even he knew." Komori said.
"But how could that be? What caused him to fall?" Aki asked.
"I don't know.. Maybe Lucifer forced him into falling from birth." Komori said.
"But then, how was he born an angel, if Lilith was a demon just as Lucifer?" Aki asked.
"Lucifer was never a demon..." Komori said.
"What...?" Aki asked.
"Lucifer became a demon when he let the darkness consume him. He originally was a good person, a God just like me." Komori said, jumping away quickly, as a massive orb smashed into the ground.
"Enough." the Lost Sin said.
"You wont destroy my universe.." Komori said.
"Try me." the Lost Sin replied.
"Just because you're using the body of one of my angels doesn't mean I'll go easy on you." Komori said.
"How exciting, an actual fight." the Lost Sin said.
"You're weak, using others to make things easier for you." Komori said.
"How else could he win?" Iblis asked. Komori turned to Iblis and Natsuki.
"Where have you two been?" Komori asked.
"Searching for Abaddon, who turned out to be in Aki at the time." Natsuki answered.
"Well, looks like theres nothing we can do about it now." Iblis said.
"Whys that?" Aki asked.
"Looks at the Goddess." Natsuki said.
"You know what's going to happen to her now." Iblis said.
"I'll be fine." Komori said, looking at Eve who finally got up. Komori smiled, and looked at Tsuri and Shi, who were still down.
"Great." the Lost Sin said, as he started flying to Eve. It created Shi's weapon again, and prepared to attack Eve. As it lunged the weapon at Eve, Komori stepped in and grabbed the weapon.
"I dont think so." Komori said.
"Now now Goddess, don't you think you're over doing it?" Lost Sin asked. Komori looked at the Sin with no emotion, and snapped the weapon in half. She grabbed the Lost Sin and brought it closer.
"Get out of her body you bastard." Komori said, as the Lost Sin smiled. Moments later, the Lost Sin's eyes widened, and fell to it's knees.
"Wh-what..." the Lost Sin said, as Eve removed her palm from the Lost Sin's back.
"Get out of my best friend's body you mother fucker." Eve said. Suddenly, the Lost Sin left Lucy's body, and formed as a lightly transparent man. Once it was certain it was out of Lucy, Komori jumped up quickly and started attacking the Lost Sin. Eve, however, stayed in place and held Lucy close. As Komori and the Lost Sin fought in the sky, the giant orb of the Lost Sin slowly came closer to the planet. While that fight went on, Iblis and Natsuki went after Abaddon. However, before they could reach him, demons went in their way.
"Get out of the way." Iblis commanded.
"Yeah right." the demon replied. Iblis appeared in front of the demon and placed his palm on the demon's chest. The demon fell instantly, and smashed into the ground. Natsuki did the same, but to two demons, and quickly pulled out her weapon. Iblis and Natsuki were back to back now.
"Like old times, huh Nats?" Iblis asked. Natsuki smiled, and spun her weapon around. Demons surrounded them, and they began fighting. Eve began healing Lucy, while Tsuri and Shi were still down. Once Natsuki and Iblis took out the entire group of demons, they noticed a bright light.
"No way.." Natsuki said.
"It can't be.." Iblis said, as the light started getting brighter.
"I was called." a voice said, as the person came out of the light. It was a girl, with pale skin and pink hair.
"It's Emi.." Iblis said.
"But how?" Natsuki asked. Iblis looked down at Eve and Lucy, and then back at Emi.
"How do you think?" Iblis asked.
"Lucy Koibito, you are truly a wonder." Natsuki said, looking at Emi, whos eyes started to glow bright pink.
"The Goddess is in danger, I was called." Emi said. Iblis and Natsuki looked at Komori, who resumed fighting the Lost Sin. "Why did you let her transform?" Emi asked. They turned to Emi, and looked at her with sadness.
"What can we do?" Iblis asked.
"Nothing can be done. If the Goddess keeps going like that she will die." Emi said.
"How do you know so much about her?" Eve asked, flying up to them.
"Eve Kage, son of Shinda Kage, is that right?" Emi asked.
"Who are you?" Eve asked.
"You can call me Emi, as most people know me." Emi replied.
"The Emi?" Eve asked in shock.
"That is correct." Emi said.
"What are you doing here?" Eve asked.
"I come at the end of times, or when the Goddess is in trouble." Emi said.
"What are you a guardian?" Eve asked.
"I am a good friend of the Goddess'." Emi acknowledged.
"What do you know of Shinda Kage?" Eve asked.
"The boy just sold his soul to allow Komori to control her destruction form." Emi replied.
"What? I thought he wished to save us all." Eve said. Emi shook her head.
"If the Goddess can control that form, her wishes come true, such as bringing her loved ones back to life." Emi explained.
"I didn't know that.. I thought he wished us back." Eve said.
"It was a smart choice, wishing the Goddess control." Emi said.
"You were gone for so long Emi, how have you not aged?" Eve asked.
"The blessing of an angel." Emi replied, pointing at Lucy.
"Lucy Koibito? What did she make you immortal?" Eve asked.
"Precisely." Emi said, watching Komori and the Lost Sin fight. The orb was not far from now, the first planet is soon to fall. The battle must end soon, or the universe will fall.
Chapter 15 Preview:
Emi: The orb is getting closer, theres little left to finish this.
Eve: Maybe we need to make time.
Lucy: I HEARD THAT, DAMNIT.
Iblis: Enough of the time jokes, we need to get something done.
Natsuki: The Goddess can't hold on forever.
Eve: I think she needs a nap.
Komori: Woof.
Eve: DOGGY.
Lucy: REALLY!? THIS AGAIN!?
Eve: You weren't even there when it happened.
Lucy: R00D.

Chapter 15 - Day 3 of 3 "Anatta"
Anatta - Everything is deprived of a self. There is no self-inherent entity, nothing that can be controlled.
The loud shattering noise that the orb made grew louder. It was clear to everyone that there was little to no time to waste watching this battle go down. Lucy remained unconscious, and Komori was trapped in an everlasting death battle with the Lost Sin. Clearly, the battle was going nowhere, no matter how much power Komori released. Emi watched the battle from afar along with Eve, Natsuki, and Iblis. Even Emi was unsure of how to stop Komori from the darkness she released, as it had already been too late at this point.
“I can’t do this anymore.” Eve said, watching the battle nervously.
“Don’t do anything stupid, Eve.” Natsuki said.
“If I don’t do something now, we’ll lose Komori.” Eve replied.
“No matter what you do at this point, the Goddess is lost.” Emi says.
“I refuse to accept that.” Eve says, looking at Emi with determination. At this point, Emi has nothing to say. Natsuki looks at Emi, and back at Eve.
“You’re not really going to let her go in there, are you?” Natsuki asks. Emi looks at Natsuki and then at the fight.
“I’m not the one who tells the end of the story.” Emi says, looking at Eve; who smiles and turns to Komori.
“Eve! Don’t do this.” Natsuki says.
“I’m sorry Natsuki, but the Goddess needs me.” Eve says, immediately dashing towards the fight, leaving dust in the air. As Eve slowly reached the fighting ground, her eyes turned red, and blood started to drip out of her eyes. Eve blinks, letting the blood continuously drip from her eyes. She grinned, and ran faster. Finally, she reached the fighting ground and jumped up into the air. This allowed her to lunge right at the Lost Sin. Eve quickly summoned her shadow katana, and swung at the Lost Sin. Komori looked towards Eve and gasped.
“Eve, no!” Komori said, as Eve managed to get a hit on the Lost Sin. Eve quickly dodged back and smiled.
“What? You’re that upset to see me?” Eve asked.
“You need to get out of here.” Komori said.
“No, I’m not letting you die, Goddess.” Eve replied. Komori sighed and looked at Eve with a serious look.
“Stop fooling around Eve this is dangerous.” Komori said, quickly dodging the Lost Sin. Komori quickly changed view towards the Lost Sin and her eyes turn darker. She jumped towards the Lost Sin and continues to fight. Eve follows, swinging her blade at the Lost Sin. The Lost Sin tries to grab Eve, but she jumps onto his shoulder and stabs him in the back. Black smoke comes out of the Lost Sin, and he manages to grab Eve. He tosses her onto the ground and attempts to stab her with the katana he pulled out of his back, but Eve rolled away and grabbed the katana. Komori starts sending shadows at the Lost Sin and creates a blade quickly tossing in at him. Unfortunately, the Lost Sin caught the blade and shattered it. Komori kept creating weapons and continuously attacked the Lost Sin. Eventually, he managed to punch Komori in the stomach and kick her aside. He turned his hand into a blade and sent his hand towards Komori. Just before he could stab her, Eve stopped the attack by chopping the Lost Sin’s foot off. He screeched and turned to Eve in anger; his eyes turned red and he turned into a darker transparent man. His foot grew back and he turned both hands into scythe blades. He started sending thousands of attacks at Eve, but she dodged them all; as more blood dripped from her eyes.
“What the hell are you?” The Lost Sin asked. Eve smirked and jumped up, dodging both blades and cutting the top of the Lost Sin’s head. Once she landed behind him, she stabbed the blade right through his chest and got closer to him.
“Your worst nightmare” she whispered to him, quickly pulling the blade out of his chest. He fell to the floor, and a massive cloud of black smoke flew out of his chest. Eve watched as the cloud flew out, until there was no more left. Suddenly, and laugh came from the body that was seemingly dead.
“You’re a fool, Kage.” The Lost Sin said, in a more demonic voice. He got back up and appeared in form of a man, with dark grey skin and pure red eyes. He cracked his neck and back; and started to walk towards Eve. She looked at him, as her eyes became entirely black. The blood continued to leave her eyes, but now her eyes are all black, and it seems as if there was no human left in Eve. Her hair waved in the wind, as the orb started to cause shaking on the entire planet. The Lost Sin grew horns, and was standing entirely slouched. He grew two long but thin blades out of his wrists and grinned at Eve. He jumped at Eve with a scream, and immediately got a hit on her. She jumped back up, and looked around for him. Suddenly, one stab from the left, one stab from the right, and then from the back; he was too fast for Eve to figure out. Finally, two stabs in the stomach, and Eve fell to the ground. The Lost Sin laughed, and slowly walked towards Eve, preparing to end her. He walks to her, and sends one blade into Eve’s arm. Eve screamed, and opened her eyes. She quickly attacked with her katana and chopped off the Lost Sin’s left arm. He screeched loudly and black blood squirted out of the wound. He removed the blade from Eve’s arm and grabbed hold of his left side. “You bitch..” the Lost Sin said. Eve got up, and limped towards the Lost Sin.
“Die mother fucker…” Eve said limping towards him faster. The Lost Sin dodged the attack and kicked Eve in the knee. Eve fell back, and the Lost Sin followed the attack by kicking her in the side. The Lost Sin smiled, and quickly ducked, sensing an attack from behind. It was Komori, and she was weaponless this time. The Lost Sin reacted to the attack by grabbing Komori and smashing her down into the ground. He stomped on her chest, and slowly crushed her upper chest until she began to cough blood. He laughed at her pain, and punched her in the face.
“Do you like the pain, Goddess?” The Lost Sin asked. Komori screamed in pain, as her ribs began to break apart. Eve got up, and grabbed her blade. She limped towards the Lost Sin, while still attempting to run. The blood from her eyes dripped faster now, and she had an angry look on her face.
“Die!” she screamed loudly. The scream echoed through the entire field, and all that was heard was a blade. Suddenly, complete silence. Eve stared in shock towards the Lost Sin, as a body was hanging off of his blade. “L-Lucy… n-no..” Eve said, looking at the blade that was going through her.
“I couldn’t let you die… Eve.” Lucy said, tearing up.
“You idiot!” she said as blood and regular tears joined together, going down Eve’s cheeks.
“I… I know you’re strong enough to.. win, Eve..” Lucy struggled to say.
“Lucy.. don’t leave me!” Eve said grabbing her off of the blade.
“I’m …. S-sorry…” Lucy said, as she
smiled. Slowly, her eyes closed, and she became a bright white light.
“Lucy!!!” Eve screamed at the top of her lungs. The body was gone, and the bright light flew up into the sky and exploded. Eve got up in tears, and her skin began to turn dark grey, like the Lost Sin’s. She looked at him, and a dark aura started to surround her. “You fucking bastard..” Eve said, looking at the Lost Sin. He stabbed off of Komori, and looked at Eve. He laughed at her, until bone cracking noises came from Eve. He noticed then, that her bones were joining back together, and all injuries seem to be gone. Eve ran towards the Lost Sin carelessly, and stabbed him right through the head. She immediately pulled the blade out of the head and stabbed him through the chest several times. She finished the attack by chopping his head off and tossing it on the ground. She smashed the head with her foot and kicked the body onto the ground. Eve screamed again, and the dark aura was gone. She fell to her knees, and looked at the corpse of the Lost Sin. Suddenly, black clouds flew out of the body and faded up into the sky. Everybody ran to Eve, as the planet began to break apart.
“Eve!” Natsuki said. She did not reply, just remained on the ground. Her skin and eyes were back to normal, but there was still blood on her cheeks. Iblis picked Eve up, and Emi looked at the Goddess. Komori barely opened her eyes, and looked at them.
“Go.” Komori said, coughing blood out.
“But, Komor-“ Natsuki said.
“Go!” Komori replied, getting up with the little strength she has left.
“I’m not leaving you.” Eve said.
“Go!!” Komori screamed at them. Iblis dragged Eve, Natsuki followed; Eve screamed, refusing to let Komori die too. “This is how my story was supposed to end all along, right Emi?” Komori asked.
“My Goddess, you know what happens if you leave.” Emi replies.
“Protect them, for as long as you can.” Komori says.
“It was fun, Komori.” Emi adds. Komori nods, and wipes the blood from her mouth.
“Now go.” Komori says. Emi runs to the others. The orb was nearly there, and Emi quickly started to cast a spell to create a portal. Natsuki dragged Tsuri and Shi over. Komori stood in place, pulling her soul out of her body, and creating a massive orb of light around it. She began to tear up, as she put a tight grip onto the orb.
“I look across a raging war…” Komori mumbles to herself. “And feel the steady beating of my heart…” Komori continues. As Komori gazed at the orb, she notices a familiar face reflecting on it. “A memory is constantly fading - even as we speak.” It was the face of her mother. She smiles, and screams; “Surpassing time, I tell a story.. It goes on echoing.” And finally, she throws her soul towards the orb. Komori looks up into space, and laughs. “Piercing right through my heart, the words of glory surrounded me.” Komori says, as the orb finally makes its final move. She closes her eyes, and the orb, along with the entire planet, implodes. A massive bright light spreads through the universe, as all stars begin to glow brighter, and all planets were being restored since the beginning.

Eve, Emi, Natsuki, Iblis, Tsuri, and Shi all appear back on Earth. Everything looks just how it was before any problems. The Kage house was no longer burned down, the forest did not have a massive hole in it, but there was certainly something different. The journey started with several heroes that did everything they could to protect the universe, and ended with a selected few. Everybody looked at each other, except for Eve, who walked home. Everybody looked at her, and then at each other. Tsuri walked towards his forest, Shi walked off to where Kitsune used to live, Natsuki and Iblis returned to the spirit realm, and Emi went back to her home. Although it seemed like all was back to the way it used to be, these six warriors know that no matter how hard they fought in that battle, they lost it. The world may be saved, but the universe is no longer in full control. As Eve entered her home, she looked at an image of Komori and her family. She teared up and kicked her table in anger. She ran up the stairs, but as soon as she opened the door..
“Hello love.” A demon said, with a grin on his face. Eve turned around, and noticed another demon right behind her. They grabbed her and no matter how much she struggled, she could not break out of their grasp. They laughed, and vanished with her.
